We have ordered one or twice before and it was great then but this time the food was so bland, and it tasted like it was made days ago and just heated up when we ordered it for takeout. Quality on food has gone down drastically since the first time we’ve eaten from there. The service is always good. This time, my wife and I had an upset stomach after eating from there. Disappointed! and will probably never go there again.

So, like most, searched Google and found this place. Reviews seemed decent and something new to try is always fun. Except, it wasn't. The pictures and reviews were deceiving. We got there about 15 minutes after opening and it just went down hill. It was as if they hadn't prepped anything. Lamb wasn't ready and takes too long so we couldn't order that. The guy out front was nice, but he kept going back to the kitchen and took forever for just drinks. No fresh lemon, OK, no big deal. No ice with our drinks and took forever for a smoothie. As mentioned, I'm pretty sure they opened without getting anything ready. Plastic ware and Styrofoam cups. The fact our meal was going to take over 30 minutes wasn't the deal breaker. It's when I went to the restroom and the door didn't shut all of the way nor did it lock. Also, it was the roaches crawling around my feet. That's when I had my husband pay for what drinks we got and left.

My daughter and I were in the area and in the mood for some Indian food. We came across this place on google and decided to give it a try. It’s got decent atmosphere inside, except it’s a little to low lit for my liking. There were two people sitting at a table when we walked in, neither greeted us and after about two minutes of standing at the counter ready to order one of the two gentlemen got up and brought someone out from the back. The food was underwhelming all around. The butter chicken was bland, the lamb tikka masala was bland, the samosas did not come with a red sauce, and the garlic naan was a bit too chewy, as if it were stale or reheated. The counter guy was nice and helpful throughout, maybe the best part about the experience. They only had paper plates and plastic ware to eat with, which isn’t a problem until you need to cut something. Overall I wouldn’t come back, certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit this particular location when there are better options around OKC and Edmond.

Just ducked in for lunch after seeing the sign. We love Indian food and Cafe 47 did not disappoint! The Chicken Tikka Masala & Shrimp Tikka Masala was so good ? as was the garlic Naan! I am really looking forward to coming again and bringing friends next time.
Vegetarian options: I did see a few vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, too!

Since it was a delivery, I cant speak on ambiance or decor. The portions,especially the rice were on the small side. The garlic naan was just pitiful, like it had been made a couple of days before. The lamb curry was tasty, but I've had better. I'd probably have to go to the restaurant to get the full experience.

Ordered lamb curry & they sent something else without even letting me know ! Ordered garlic naan & got the regular naans ! You should’ve canceled the order if you don’t have the specific things which I ordered! WORST SERVICE
Chicken biryani is delicious but naans are very tiny. Still overall a good place and some of the better Indian food in OKC.

Hi, I never write reviews for any restaurant but for the first time I would love to write the review for This restaurant,I tried many restaurants in Oklahoma but I didn’t get good perfect Indian taste food till now, but when me and my friends tried cafe 47 biryani and others dishes we all just feel in love with the taste, flavor, and texture of those dishes. So, we started ordering again and again never ever we get disappointed with the taste.Thankyou cafe 47100% satisfaction

I have frequented this restaurant several times and the food is fantastic. However, lately the service has drastically declined. My last few orders have had a number of issues: including multiple instances of missing food and being told something was available only to find out it wasn't AFTER paying. Long story sort - be sure to have them read back your order and check it before you leave the store. I wouldn't trust it for delivery.

First of all I would say that owner of this restaurant is a big liar. I pick up catering order form this restaurant. I ordered gobi manchuria half tray. Taste is such a bad. Next day I take back his tray back to him and explain the same. He told me to sorry for that and said use the same amount next time dine in free. I went the restaurant another day and he Wave of only for naan. The lady who is on the counter she is also very arrogant. In my experience I had a very bad experience with this restaurant

Really good, flavorful, creamy butter chicken but for the size of the bowl and the amount of creamy goodness I really didn't think there was enough chicken. The rice was good and the garlic naan was awesome. Nice atmosphere. I would go here just to have a drink with a friend and chat.
