This is a Time Machine review...we lived in Edmond when Cafe 501 launched and it became our Saturday morning after soccer/Sunday after church spot for many years. I am delighted to look back more than 20 years and see the same owners (Sheree) executing at the same even better level. Truly, it was more bakery at first but the limited menu was always fresh and well prepared. This is incredibly difficult to do in the restaurant business particularly in a small city. As we look around we see Edmond having grown into what we always thought it might become...a special place for families with beautiful neighbors. Congrats Cafe 501...we have traveled many miles since those days and experienced much yet we still can remember when you guys came along and made a statement that still resonates. Cheers.
Everything was great but we sure miss the delicious bread and roasted garlic you used to serve.
Good food for a moderate price. Don't add the chicken to the bowls, not worth it.
Everything else was great. The staff was excellent and the desserts looks really good.
Parking is easy early but get packed around 6:30?
Used open table for the reservation.

We loved the food and the service, but it is somewhat noisy and the space is small for dining.
Stellar! Tasty!! Courteous!!!
Had the joy of meeting with a dear friend, not seen in way too long here! Thank you for the space, and wonderful service, food and drink! Looking forward to more options here!

We had a lovely evening with great food, wine and desserts! The waitress was exceptional! We will be back!
We had excellent wait staff. Food far above average and reasonably priced. We sat on the patio area so traffic noise was elevated but in all a delightful evening
Excellent food, great service

lovely spot for lunch with delicious food and spacious booths. they put some kind of mild seasoning on their chip that i’m not fond of, but the rest of my family loved. tastefully furnished restrooms with clean floors, mirrors, sinks, and toilets and a seating area.

The manager is the only person hustling. Our waiter was hardly present, half the food was cool, and it all took forever. We won't be back.

Love the new brunch menu! Third trip on Sunday morning. Something different every time all have been delicious!
Would love to see more gluten free options for my husband. Also I would prefer that my meal not be stacked up. I had the butter milk fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The Brussel sprouts were stacked on top of the potatoes and the chicken on top of that. Not very appealing. Otherwise the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Ate here for lunch with a friend. Service was very good - ladies were pleasant and efficient. I ordered the special - Shrimp Fried Rice - on a whim thinking that the special might be even better than a regular menu item. Was so disappointed. The dish was very greasy and overly seasoned with garlic and red pepper. Not a lot of rice at all - but lots of seasoned wonton strips. About 6 shrimp. Not at all what I expected for Shrimp Fried Rice - and definitely not worth the $19 price. Won't return.

Really satisfying meal. This place has been getting good reviews, and I don't always agree with trip advisor reviews, but this time I do. Reasonable prices for what you get.
Great place, waiter was engaging and service was quick. Food was very good, had a lot of flexibility for gluten free folks, very accommodating for the GF wife! Great overall experience will be returning!
