We had excellent wait staff. Food far above average and reasonably priced. We sat on the patio area so traffic noise was elevated but in all a delightful evening
The manager is the only person hustling. Our waiter was hardly present, half the food was cool, and it all took forever. We won't be back.
Love the new brunch menu! Third trip on Sunday morning. Something different every time all have been delicious!
Would love to see more gluten free options for my husband. Also I would prefer that my meal not be stacked up. I had the butter milk fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The Brussel sprouts were stacked on top of the potatoes and the chicken on top of that. Not very appealing. Otherwise the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Great place, waiter was engaging and service was quick. Food was very good, had a lot of flexibility for gluten free folks, very accommodating for the GF wife! Great overall experience will be returning!
We are definitely fans of Cafe 501! They have a wonderful variety of food options, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. đ©·
The food and service was fantastic! I ordered the watermelon salad and Mediterranean bowl. I highly recommend them!
Food needed salt. Salmon was overcooked and skirt steak was very grisly and flavorless. Served was attentive and ambience nice. Don't think we will be back.
I left this review on open table but I am leaving it here as well. I have been to 501 before Covid. It was a more classy experience. Maybe there is new ownership? Restaurant is completely different. Bright, loud, and southwestern tacky. I donât understand the combination of pita bread with bean dip, but I digress. For two people to have a nice plate, a drink, and a starter for $90. I was expecting the quality to be there. Skirt steak was unevenly cooked when requested at medium. Charred in parts, chewy and fatty, and deep red in other parts. Iâm not reviewing this for a hand-out. I donât want to return. We couldâve gone to Charlestonâs for the same price, better atmosphere, and higher quality. This review is to help the ownerâs know where they are relative to their competitors. The waitress was great.
Went for a birthday dinner and it was great! Great food and service (Tamara I think helped us). Desserts were awesome. Can't wait to go back đ

We booked a table using Opentable and I put in the notes that I would like them to highlight the vegan options. when we got there our table wasn't quite ready, but it just took them a minute to get one ready. When we ordered the server was not very aware about vegan options. I think they were only two on the brunch menu. Then when it came time to ask what we would like for dessert, I asked if they had anything vegan and the server told us they did not. So it was a little bit of a disappointment that they didn't read the notes that I put in the reservation, but What can you do? ïżŒ
The staff was very helpful in seating us in a good booth. Our meals were excellent...eggs benedict and avocado toast. Service was great...an overall great experience. We'll be back for brunch.
We frequent this restaurant often. This reservation was special and I noted, âour 40th anniversaryâ. We knew we were special (regulars) when we arrived. They had our table adorned with fresh red rose petals and when we were seated brought us champagne!
Food was delicious at a reasonable price. Our server was excellent, kept checking on our table making sure our water was refilled. She also made great suggestions.
