The food was amazing and our service was great. I've only had brunch at Cafe 501, which is delicious. I'm glad we were able to experience how wonderful their dinner menu is.
We enjoyed Easter Brunch at Cafe 501. The steak and eggs were amazing. Enjoyed the biscuit appetizer. We really enjoyed the jam with the biscuits. My son rated the burger 5 stars!
Great experience. The food was great as always. Our server Dell was excellent. He was kind and attentive. I really like the quiet atmosphere.
The menu items/selections are great. Food is always perfectly prepared. The staff is always great.
2nd visit. Enjoyed it. Miss the bacon wrapped shrimp. Not on the menu any longer đ©. Will keep coming back. Much more to try!
Went to 501 last night with friends. We ordered drinks and the bartender made mine with the wrong drink mix. The food was not good. My wife's salmon was overcooked and dry, my Tuscan chicken was burnt and overcooked, and the green beens were almost raw, the smashed potatoes were ok. My friends ordered the Braised Short Ribs and it was one fatty piece of meat and a large portion of Risotto and his wife ordered the sticky ribs and ate a very small portion. None of us complained about the meal but my wife and I decided that we are not going back to 501 again
We hadn't been to brunch at Cafe 501, but we will definitely go back. The dishes we had were creative and delicious. The Loaded Biscuits were genius, an amazing combination of ingredients that works!
One of the worst experiences Iâve ever had. The reservation was messed up. We arrived and the hostess said she couldnât locate us and told us to wait as she left to go back. She came back in a few minutes and took us to a 2x2 table in the back against the wall. I looked around and there were several tables open so I asked if we could have a regular table as they were open and we had made a reservation. She said they were reserved. So I said we also had made a reservation and those people were not there and we should get first priority since they had messed up. She said no and that was the only table she would give us. I repeated myself and she still said no. So I told her we would leave and asked my girlfriend to also leave. As we were leaving, I saw the manager and told him what had transpired and he said I needed to âcalm downâ and that the hostess was âjust a childâ. This is the most stupid management response Iâve ever heard. I donât need to be told to âcalm downâ and that the hostess is a âjust a childâ!!! He should have offered to resolve the issue and furthermore he should have never told me to âcalm downâ as I approached him. Worse yet, donât hire âchildren â, hire and train adult hostesses and teach them to resolve a situation to the benefit of the customer. What a stupid manager. For what itâs worth, Iâm never going back there and telling everyone I know about how he handled it.
A first visit for my spouse and I hadn't been in a while but the food is always phenomenal. The wait staff is amazing. I will always come back to enjoy this spot.

Itâs September 1st and my friends absolutely loved loved loved the monthly apple pancakes, so props to the chef for that one, would definitely recommend those. Also would recommend the candied bacon! I unfortunately ordered the steak and eggs and the steak was tiiiiiiny. Outrageously small. Whole steak portion was about the size of one slice of bacon so if youâre looking for a hearty brunch, this isnât it. Our waitress was great though, super sweet. Food came out promptly too.

Service was excellent. Food was very good. I got the eggs Benedict, my wife got the skillet scramble (substituted gravy for the queso sauce). Good portion size. Table shared the candied bacon for an appetizer - that was fantastic as well. Got noisy as were leaving (it was busy). We will return.
First time at this hidden gem. It will NOT be our last. The flavor combinations from the cocktails, appetizers, to the main dish were spot on. The service was incredible. My husband and I shared the Duo of Hummus; He ordered the Skewer Trio;and, I ordered the Lemon Artichoke Rissoto. Each bite of each item had a layer of flavor worth calling the manager over to commend the chef and kitchen staff. Everything I ordered was a recommendation of our server who had excellent menu knowledge. We WILL be back! Thank you Cafe 501 for a great experience.

We've been coming here for years and have probably been here 20 times, but every time my daughter asks to come here anymore, I start to say it's just too expensive for what you get. Still, last time she asked, I gave in and away we went. My entree was one of the specials for 28$. Sure enough, the serving size was small, and upon finishing my plate, I was still hungry. It always seems to be the case like this, here. Heavy prices and small portions. It's a shame because it was always one of our favorites, but I'm tired of leaving hungry or having to spend extra money just to be satisfied. This review reflects the past 5 or so experiences at 501.
