Never disappoints. I love this place - one of my family’s favorites five stars!
Restaurant got good reviews, so we tried it. Think it is overrated. Food was good, but nothing special. The service was fine.
I am so disappointed. I ordered a salad, carrots and potatoes. I paid 24.00 for this less than subpar food. The lettuce was wilted with brown pieces and the tomato was extremely soft. The croissant was wet with n the bottom from sitting on the wilted wet lettuce. There were a few crumbles of egg on the salad. The carrots were overcooked. About the only thing that was half decent were the potatoes which were barely warm. This location definitely need to do better with there curbside.

Well I love Charlestons so this is a difficult review but it has to be told. Went for dinner last night with family. Second time visiting this location. Grew up going to the NW Expressway one. Both times I have eaten here I have found foreign objects in my chicken salad. The first time was the produce sticker, still stuck on the bottom of the core of the lettuce they had convientely hidden under other lettuce. Last night it was some kind of heavy metal. It looked like some sort of twist tie they may use somewhere in the kitchen. I'm not exactly sure what it was. Yes, they corrected it and apologized. I just feel customers should be aware and careful if eating a salad here. I understand mistakes happen. However, when you've been somewhere twice and both times had an issue that isn't a very good track record. I do appreciate the apology and the correction. I'd just like to know how and why this happened twice and I'm glad I found the metal before I ate the salad. I'll just stick to the original location from now on.

IT WAS SO-SO.
The atmosphere was very nice. I liked the openness and the wonderful woodwork throughout. It gave the room a comfortable feel.
We visited mid afternoon on a weekday. The restaurant was not very busy. Our server greeted us and told us of the "special of the day." She rattled off the description so fast that we both found ourselves quizzing each other over the dish ingredients.
The server brought our drinks, ice tea, and a diet coke. I asked her to repeat the special of the day, this time listening very closely, we both decided to pass on that and went after the CHICKEN PICCATA that we had spied on the menu while waiting for our drinks.
***CHICKEN PICCATA tossed with artichokes, asparagus, and tomatoes in a lemon caper butter sauce, served over angel hair pasta with seasonal vegetable.
(Side seasonal veggies we chose were the Brussel sprouts)***
SADLY, the Chicken Piccata was overpowered by the tart artichokes. All we could taste were Tarty Artichokes. The chicken was super tender and cooked to perfection but tasted like... Artichokes, the angel hair pasta, was cooked perfectly along with the tomatos. Asparagus is one of my favorite veggies. Unfortunately, I came across a few "woody" pieces, and it tasted like....artichokes!
I think this could have been an amazing dish, but today, just a little too tart.
The server never asked if we we pleased with our meal, but otherwise, the service was great.
It was nice to see the waitstaff work so well together. Super teamwork.
Would I go back?... of course! Today was just a little off.

We stopped by for dinner with family. We had the spinach artichoke dip for appetizer which was good, not too salty. The chicken fried chicken with fried okra and loaded baked potato was my main dish, the chicken was crispy and the dish good overall. We also had the chicken Parmesan and chicken piccata which were also delicious. Service was great and the restaurant feels very welcoming.

Waited 45 minutes for a DoorDash pickup once I said I was here. In 860 orders, this was the 2nd longest I’ve ever had to wait. Most restaurants have the food prepared right on time or within five minutes. Only had longer at a busy pizza hut. You will lose repeat online customers as well as the drivers to accept them. Make a better system, the customers I deliver your food to deserve better.

We were sat quickly, food was good, server was good, but it took a bit long for the food. They were packed for a Thursday late lunch crowd, but they have the best moist, tender and juicy, grilled pork chops, and I love the glazed carrots.
