Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was consistent for the Cracker Barrel brand, as was the atmosphere. We had a fantastic server named Aaron, which is why I am writing this review. He worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed even though the restaurant was packed and he had lots of tables. We mentioned we were staying in a hotel so he included extra napkins and utensils in our to go bag after our meal to make sure we had everything we needed away from home. My whole family appreciated him looking ahead so we would have what we needed.

Dietary restrictions: Our server was able to let us know which dishes had egg in them and which did not.

Kid-friendliness: Server respected my kids as they ordered just like they were grown ups. My kids loved coloring activity sheets and playing with the golf tee puzzle while they waited for food. Food came quickly for hungry kiddos.

Had a great breakfast, waitress was prompt, came to our table often to check on us, service fantastic. 3 large breakfasts with coffee about $52. I left a good tip at the table, cause the service and speed of the foods arrival was very pleasant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There were several handicap spots near the door. Very accessible.

We’re on our way West to see some attractions along Route 66 as well as some national parks. We decided to stop in for dinner since our hotel is nearby. I had the pot roast with broccoli as a side. This is probably the best pot roast that I ever had at a restaurant. Big, savory chunks of roast beef with a very beefy flavor gravy. Excellent flavor. Compliments to the chef. No chunks of fat or gristle. My wife had the Monday special which was a grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce over rice. She loved it. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. Definitely recommend.

Horrible service and the food was not hot or fresh tasting. I really like Cracker Barrel when it’s good. I’m not sure which was worse this night; the service or the food.

Ordered bacon, eggs and French toast. First off, waitress couldn't find a menu in English. I asked for crispy bacon. Got 2 pieces of half cooked and a piece of ham that I didn't order. Then she brought out 1 piece of bacon that was cooked less than other 2 pieces! Finally got 3 pieces of crispy bacon! 3rd time is a charm. Then we had to ask another waitress for drink refills. French toast was 2 thin pieces. I guess we're spoiled by our CB in Iowa.

Had lunch with a friend. Food was great, so was the service. Their prices are good, our total came up to under $25.00. Nice there is a place to get a great meal that is affordable!

Our Server Mindy is the BEST! She is so kind, friendly and personable, I have started asking to sit in her section if she is working when we stop in.
