There are a handful of Daylight Donut branches around Edmond including this place on W. Danforth. Opening hours are 5am to 12pm (Wed to Mon), closed on Tuesdays. They have a few tables inside, most do take-away orders.
Daylight offer a nice selection of traditional donuts at reasonable prices. I recently picked up an apple fritter at this branch. It was harder than what they usually serve but still quite good, a nice apple, cinnamon combo that goes well with a cup of coffee. Worth a try if you have a Daylight Donut near you.

The lady at the counter was very friendly! I bought a dozen assorted doughnuts to bring over to family and let me tell you they were a hit. Super pillowy soft and fresh. This might be my go-to doughnut spot now!

WATCH FOR OVERCHARGES! These are my favorite doughnuts, and I get them almost every week. But recently I’ve noticed that my debit charges don’t match up with sale, and they never give a card receipt in the store. There’s been a couple times it wasn’t much and I didn’t think about it. One time it was two dollars, and today it was 4.69 over. I was charged 11.75 for a 7.08 sale. I never want to assume I’m being stolen from, but this seems kind of like a pattern. Unfortunately I didn’t notice till I got home and it was too late to get back before they close.

If I'm driving by this store, i love to pick up their jalapeno sausage roll after my walk. Its a dainty little store which has a small town cafe vibes. I like their friendly staff who greet you with a beautiful smile. Their coffee is not so great. Their pastries and donuts are good.
