It smells like smoked meats when you walk in, which is a great sign. Our department took our boss out for a birthday lunch and they were able to accomodate our group of 12. I found a healthy option in a smoked chicken sandwich with a side salad. It was really good. I'll have to go back for some fried okra and some ribs at a later time.

This restaurant has good BBQ at a reasonable price. I got the daily lunch special which was turkey, sausage, and two sides. The turkey was meh, sausage was good, and the Mac n cheese and okra were both very good. Service at the counter was friendly and fast. I left very full, and would probably come back to try some more of the ribs and brisket.

I had the "Big Earl" with ribs and smoked chicken breast. 3 & 1/2 bones of St. Louis ribs and 4 small slices of chicken breast for $25 is a little out of balance to my but I don't set the prices. I had the baked beans along with the mac & cheese. Both sides were very good as was the Texas toast. Not the most I've spent on average BBQ but at least I can scratch them off the list. It was a decent lunch but there should have been more bang for your buck...
