It was a pleasant enough meal, my husband and I agreed it wasn’t bad, but just okayish. I started violently throwing up 3 hours later. The vomiting lasted all night, but finally subsided the next morning. Obviously we won’t be going back, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat salmon, spinach and mashed potatoes again. Food poisoning is pretty miserable, I’ll be eating at home for the foreseeable future.

Well we wanted to try this place for their seafood but wasn’t really blown away by it. We order a dozen oysters, the crab and shrimp boil, and 3 lbs of crawfish. The oysters tasted fine. But crab and shrimp boil wasn’t that great. You could tell it was old and not fresh. The crab had a really really strong fishy taste and didn’t snap when cracking it. The shrimp was the same and would break apart as you peeled it, it was kind of gross to be honest. The crawfish wasn’t the best either. Some were completely crushed and then we had just some shells in the batch. All in all I really had high hopes for this place but let down by the quality of food, for $150 I honestly thought it would have been better. The serve was great and friendly and did a great job. At least they have that going for them. Thanks for reading my honest review of the place.

Great time celebrating Mardi Gras! Fish City goes all out! The food was delicious & we enjoyed the live music & drinks specials!

The food is delicious and there is a nice variety. They have a great happy hour with drink and appetizer specials. The service is always excellent. It is easy to converse with a group in the booths (noise isn't an issue).

Heard about the oyster nachos and had to try them. The nachos were better than anticipated and what a pleasant surprise the rest of the turned out to be. The garlic caper grilled salmon was a treat.

I'm going to make this short and simple. We sat at the bar to eat. The bartender was the best! She was so sweet, we talked like we were old friends. I would go back just for her! We ordered tuna tartar, oysters, crab legs and shrimp. The best we've had with being on the coast! We will definitely dive an hour to come back.

I would have given only 1 star, but the service brought it up to 2 stars. We ordered the crab & shrimp boil, and it was terrible! Nothing on the plate had flavor, including the garlic butter sauce, which we sent back for a fresh batch. The crab, shrimp, potato, and corn was all very bland!! The corn was flat with no juice or flavor, and was still inedible after dipping it in the 2nd round of garlic butter sauce. The service was nice, and they were accommodating, even though we only complained about the garlic butter sauce. It was sooo much better several years ago!!
