Insomnia Cookies serves absolutely delicious cookies in a friendly environment, but the heat inside is quite intense, likely due to poor ventilation and an outdated air system. The hardworking staff clearly deserve better working conditions, and I feel the owners, given their success, could definitely address this issue. Despite the heat, the cookies are worth the visit, and I hope they improve the cooling system soon.
Kid-friendliness: The staff at Insomnia Cookies is always super kind to my kiddos and delivers great service.
We arrived and waited in line ( usually a good thing ) however when we finally got to the front they told us they couldn't accept cards as their reader was down. Why not put a sign up? Or at least tell people before they wait in line. We tried to order on the app but the prices on the app were inflated. When we asked why, they didn't have a good answer. In fact it was a barely coherent sentence. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Price gouging and incompetent

Today was my first and LAST time I go to this insomnia cookie. This store closes at 1:00am and my boyfriend and I arrived around 11:20pm on 06/30/24 (for reference). There was a rush before us, but they left as we were walking through the door. My boyfriend and I let three other people order ahead of us because I had no clue what I wanted and I didn't want to inconvenience other people. We overheard a lady try to order the cookie that my boyfriend also wanted, but she was told it would be a 17 minute wait. Then, when we were ordering my boyfriend was also told the same wait time (which was fine with us), but the cashier was super rude about it and made it seem like we were bothering them. She also was confused about my boyfriends order and instead of trying to figure it out she just stopped talking to him and then moved over to me and said "so what cookie did you want, sorry I don't understand what he is asking for". He was still standing there so he said "if you're confused why didn't you just ask me to clarify". After telling her 3 times what we wanted, in detail, she finally figured it out. Meanwhile, the other worker was slamming boxes on the counter and had a horrible attitude the whole time! I finally asked "are you guys ok here? because it seem like everyone here is in a miserable mood". The cashier said "we are about to close at 1:00am and we had a pretty big rush so everyone is on edge." If we had come in at 12:50am that would make sense, but for them to still be open for another hour and forty minutes and treat customers like that is mind boggling! I would also understand their frustration if we had been super rude to them, but we weren't at all. Also, after I asked the cashier that question about them being ok they "magically" found the same cookie that they originally told us would take 17 minutes to make. After that they started acting slightly more pleasant, but by that point I was so furious. I think both of those ladies should be fired and replaced immediately. They have the worst customer service skills l've EVER seen. One of the ladies was short with black hair and tattoos; the other lady was mid height, pale, blonde haired, and had blue eyes. If you think you want insomnia and you see either of these ladies working, you might as well turn around and go home because it's not worth it to be treated so poorly.

Best vegan-gluten free cookies i've ever had! my favorite is the (i think) white chocolate macadamia nut cookie! i cant recall of that ine is gluten free but it was delish!
