I came here somewhat late last night. The atmosphere is great. There are giant pictures of The OKC Thunder and quite a few classic arcade games that are free to play. The owner Jake was very polite and after talking to him you could tell he took pride in his business. Now for the food, it is without a doubt the best Coney that I've had yet in Oklahoma. The other Coney Island locations in the area aren't nearly as fresh and tasty as this location. Also the chili had a very nice flavor. If you are craving a Coney this come here, you won't be disappointed.

Jake’s is a perfect spot to take a breather from the daily grind to get yourself a meal. Everything about the coneys that Jake’s prepares for you is about as authentic and true to form as you can get. They instantly reminded me of my childhood and brought me back to the young years of walking around town with friends and stopping at our local spot to get a coney. Excellently prepared and excellent service. The famous coney is a mainstay and a perfect way to beat your hunger on a nice summer day.

An excellent counter service Coney joint with tons of old school arcade and board games for you and your friends to come play while you eat. I try to come by here once a week or two after my shift at work because it so good.

I had the Carolina coney, highly recommended. Place has a great vibe with free video games. Jake, the owner, really nice guy that’ll assist you if you’re having difficulty choosing what you like.

The dogs at Jake's taste great, but it was not much bigger than a slim Jim. The chili was tasty, and the toppings were fresh. I also wish you could get fries, tots, or onion rings, rather than just chips.

People that put a negative review on here do not know coneys imo. This is the same as Tulsa Coney Islander. Steamed buns, the real chili is bomb and not from a can. The dogs are Schwab dogs. Had 3 coneys and they were really good. Not bragging but I have had coneys from around the world and this is a top spot. Thank you Jake for bringing the goodness, nice to meet you.👍👍PS: this is not a hot dog SAUCE like the other coney places in town..this is chili. If you are used to what has been here then I'm sorry you are missing out 😲

I LOVED the frito dog. I got it without onions and I appreciate that I was able to specify that without feeling like I’m a difficult customer. A good place for people with social anxiety.

I have been seeing the Restaurant for quite some time now. The name itself stands out and when you see the name you know it's going to be the best ever. After finally making it in, I see why people are going to the other places around it. The bread is soft and soggy on the inside. The Weiner is not downtown historic Coney Island. It says historic chili. A total lie. Should have gone to Sonic. So serious. No taste to nothing. Doesn't even taste like chili. All the cheese. I mean, Unbelievable amount. Food barely warm. Gave me red onions for a hot dog. OMG. Downtown Oklahoma City will be my only Coney Island moving forward. Edmond, thanks but no thanks!!!

I got a Plain and a Coney and I was not impressed at all. Thin and flavorless dogs, raw onions, Wolf Brand tasting Chili, and even the water tasted like calcified tap water. The atmosphere isn’t too shabby, and I really enjoy the old games, but with the attitude of the attendant and the poor quality of the food, I won’t be going back.
