So I ordered a shrimp fried rice with no vegetables and with a side of Asian wings. The fried rice lacked flavor, tasted burnt and was cold. 20 dollars down the drain. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere! The food is

After driving past this place for years we finally decided to give it a try. Initial impressions of the decor were positive. It was warm and inviting. There was plenty of room between tables and the chairs were comfortable. However, the napkins and things stacked in the NW corner of the dining area need to be cleaned up. That makes it look unkept and messy. We ordered sodas and they arrived promptly. The soda was properly mixed and they tasted good with good carbonation. But after she dropped the sodas off it was at least 10 or 15 minutes before our server returned to take our order. From that point forward, we had to track her down for everything. We were the only table on the N end of the dining area and she was spending all her time on the S side by the bar. So unless we stood up and got her attention she didn't come by.Okay, what about the food? The rice, filet and veggies were all pretty good. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a major fail. The shrimp were cooked to death and it was like chewing on a piece of rubber. The part that really ruined the whole meal as the salmon. It smelled like stinky fish. Salmon isn't supposed to smell like fish. It's clear that it was not fresh by any means. The smell of the salmon at the table was disgusting it caused us both to lose our appetite. For a place that serves sushi it's not a good idea to serve seafood that smells so bad. I have no plans on returning. For the price they charge they should have done much better. There are just too many other places that do a much better job and charge much less.

The filet was alright, but not a 30 dollar meal at all. There was literally a water leak pouring from a sagging spot in the ceiling we had to listen to the entire time. The plates and bowls were pretty at least, but that was about the highlight of the dinner.

I thought they would cook in front of us, that didn’t happen. But the service was awesome and the food was excellent. Good place to go for traditional sushi and some wacky roles.Cheaper than Icon Sushi (our favorite sushi place)Might change from night to night but they played 90 soft rap and R&B. Super fun anniversary dinner

I love this place. The lunch specials are a great value. The can make the sushi with brown rice at request which is great since I don’t eat white rice. I wish they had not removed the teppanyaki grills. When they had them we enjoyed taking our kid to watch the show. When I dine at the bar the sushi chef always gives me some sort of extra treat to sample. He also has some very beautiful plating. He makes a $10 lunch special look like a $100 plate at a 5 star restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Brown Rice upon request.

They no longer have real Hibachi cooked in front of you at the table. Everything is now cooked in the back kitchen including the Hibachi menu. The food use to be good BUT if you looking for the FULL Hibachi experience you need to go elsewhere.

This place was my go to for a couple years but things have changed and it's almost like I'm looked at like a bad customer cause I don't order in or there is too much time between orders. What made me the most upset is that many of their advertised ingredients are never available and they keep advertising it with xyz sauce but that's not available etc. never felt like I was the dick because I asked why the menu wasn't what they had or didn't like something. Place use to be my go to and now I'm uncomfortable to order. Even take out. Makes me mad as hell cause I loved a true customer caring place that made sure fresh fish made it to Oklahoma (land locked). But nobody talks up the sushi or makes sure there rolls have the advertised ingredients. Don't just blowOff the customer like it shouldn't matter.

Really love this place, we go here quite a lot. I have enjoyed everything t I have tried, including their pad thai. The service is generally good and everyone is super friendly. That said, we’ve noticed that the sushi tends to take quite a bit longer to be served versus any other food like fried rice, etc. I also noticed this difference in delivery time when ordering sushi from them through Uber Eats. To date we have only ever seen one gentleman making sushi, so maybe that’s why. Dude is probably exhausted! It’s also on the chilly side inside the restaurant, which I love, but my spouse who is always cold because of taking blood thinners always brings a sweater.

I really haven’t found anything I don’t like about Kobe. They have great hibachi, sushi and appetizers. Their portion sizes are perfect and their food is consistently yummy every single time. A great place for lunch or dinner! My favorites are the steak hibachi and for sushi I love the Oklahoma Roll. They also make it very easy for pregnant women to order sushi as the rolls are clearly marked and they have a lot of options. Can’t recommend enough!

Excellent sushi and hibachi! This is our go to place in Edmond. Wendy one of the servers is so polite and kind. She provides excellent service and makes sure everything prepared correct. The Sushi chef is also excellent and great presentation skills with his dishes. Highly recommend.

Food and service were good. Pricing seemed excessively high. If you don't mind spending $60 for one entree, one roll and a kids item, then the place is fine. Thet was with NO drinks....Looked a bit worn too, could use a sprucing up!

Came here with family for hibachi and granted they don't cook in front of you anymore but the food is still so fresh ! We all got hibachi dinners and I got the chicken and filet dinner. The filet was cooked so well and the chicken tasted amazing. They have this sauce there that I believe is yum yum sauce it is sooooo good like I would by a bottle of that sauce. There sushi was good too and not badly priced. Definitely worth a try in Edmond. Staff was wonderful as well. I love the atmosphere too it is so relaxing. Will 100% be back

We used to eat there once a week and always had great service and food until two months ago the food went to pot. Ordered and was brought out burnt. The vegetables were black. The cook put them on the plate, the waitress served it to us and said nothing. Totally unacceptable! They have to had a new cook or something, but no one thought to say don’t serve. Start over! Will not be going back! Sorry this used to be our weekly go to.
