Got the cowboy roll and crab Rangoon. Delicious!

Been here a couple times and it’s been great every time. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice - the place is pretty quiet so it’s good for chatting. Food is great. It’s not a great place for a fast meal (which isn’t bad) partly because they definitely emphasize presentation and execution.

The firecracker roll is great, the edamame with garlic is great.

My wife and I have been coming to Kyoto for a couple of years now and, although I seldom write reviews, I have to say this place is outstanding. We usually come her for lunch and the food is consistently excellent as is the service. We love the fresh summer rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce and my wife usually gets the red curry. The Bento Box is excellent for a lunch item and the sushi is always tasty. I think this place gets my highest praise for an all around outstanding dining experience. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

I wanted to like this place. I wanted to enjoy the sushi. This place just fell flat on so many levels. There were 3 of us and we pick new sushi restaurants to try every week. For the price and location none of us could wrap our head around the low quality fish, bad service with no attention to guest, and the emotionless attitudes from staff.

When I was eating my food, the AC turned on and white particulate fell on me and my food. Not sure what that was, very concerning. Took about an hour after i was done eating to get offered my check…

Honestly, I could have gone to one of the cheap Chinese restaurants in town and gotten the same quality of food. $29 for shrimp tempura that had 3 shrimp in it and some fried rice that was very dry and the EXACT flavor as the Great Wall Chinese food places.

Definitely doesn't care for dietary restrictions

Dietary restrictions: Didn't respect my mushroom restrictions when it came out with mushroom. Wouldn't remake it and I had to pay for it. Wonderful
