McClaren's is always great for meeting friends. A group of us easily found a table a visited for a long time. After finishing our lunch, we had to get an array of cookies to share and there is always an awesome selection.

We always liked this little sandwich shop until today. I was taken aback by the condescending tone that the staff took when they messed up an order. We came in and ordered two kids meals, my wife’s food, mine, and four drinks. When coming up to pay, the staff had three sandwiches. I asked where the fourth one was, and the lady at the counter told me, “well, we wrote down three, so that’s what we made.” I replied that we still needed the fourth sandwich to complete our order. The staff member went and told the person working the sandwich station about it. The two snarkily exchanged dialogue about whether or not I would pay. I overheard them, and honestly, if your employees are going to act that way within earshot of customers, you should be ashamed of your business. Never once was there an apology for their mistake, and they made me and my family feel rather unwelcome here. I am astounded and will never ever return, and I will blast this place in a negative light from this point forward. Just plain rude, ridiculous, and full of condescension. I hope you don’t think you’re always right.

Everything is so fresh! Employees are so polite and everything is clean. Try a no bake cookie, they're stellar.

I should have listened to the bad reviews. Over priced and underwhelming. Wife went with a soup that was surprisingly close in taste to a vaule brand canned soup tiny overpriced supposed Mediterranean pasta salad. My order was not much better. Staff appeared more interested in their phones than anything else.

Terrible customer service. I waited 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my existence. When it's busy, I don't expect anyone to run over to serve me, but it's (un) common courtesy to at least say, "Hello" to a waiting customer. I legitimately was starting to wonder if anyone even realized I was there. They are not friendly AT ALL. I left without ordering anything.

Food was ok. Wish they would make slightly bigger sandwiches. Little over priced. Friendly though.

It would be five stars, but the prices are a little high to eat here often. Great service and excellent baked goods.

I spent nearly $15 on a super teeny tiny quiche and an iced tea for lunch one day. Just for a visual, it was about half the size of those offered at Panera. My thought when I ordered was that for $11 this must be a large and fresh quiche so much to my dismay, I was pretty underwhelmed. I didn't partake in any of the cookies or sweet pastries that others say are good here. I wouldn't return for lunch.
Great place I loved it
