My wife and I thought it was good food for a great price. I had the Hunan Beef with egg roll my wife had sweet and sour chicken with egg roll. Could not eat all of it because it was a dinner size portion for lunch.

Manager is extremely rude. Ordered food here multiple time and I have no complaints but it definitely not the best. On the other hand check you items. When I received my order my lo mein was missing and owner refused to give it to me missing items as if I somehow pulled it out. Lol…. Extremely rude, just a heads up as customer service is below the bar. Would definitely ot be going back as there are many business owners who are looking for customers and treat them faily. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Taking into account cultural and language differences I have no problems with new Great Wall near Santa Fe and 15th. I would say it is some of the best. Chinéese food in the area. Now let's say Chinese/american as much of it is not real Chinese. Take a long trip go to China town in Chicago been there lived in the "burbs" service in some of the "fine" places there is about the same but you have dishes you do not find at new great wall. Beef tendon, jelly fish and others! I can treat New Great Wall like a themed place Such as Ed Debevic's in Chicago or many along Route 66. If You are looking for great service do not go to small hole in the wall ethnic places. Oh, you will often miss great food by avoiding hole in the wall places. My experience is the small hole in the wall places like New Great Wall have fantastic food even though service might not top the charts, then consider are there cultural or language differences that are being missed? Even though you are a customer, always remember PLEASE and THANK YOU go a LONG way. I would like to place and order please after confirming the order that is all thank you. And consider in a takeout place after the order is confirmed they may hang up because customers are at the counter or calls are coming in. Again my service experience here has always been good.

What is usually good food, today's food was awful. I ordered spicy Gen Tso's chicken. There was no sauce, very dry and the chicken tasted old... very chewy. It will be a long time before I go back (if ever).

I'm not saying I got food poisoning here but I tried their sweet and sour pork which tasted off and was over-fried and the wonton soup which tasted like plastic and I just so happened to be violently sick for 2 days. Threw out half of the "food" and made my vows about this place. Never again.

Hands down, the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Was not one polite person in the place. This isn't just one experience. I gave it a try for the 4th time (only because they are the closest to home). I will drive 20 miles away before I give them one more cent of my money. Never again!!! Not to mention, you aren't allowed 2 feet past the front door because....hell I don't know why. Absolutely, the worst restaurant I've been in for 20+ years. Avoid this place unless you're just a gluten for punishment
