I was happy to discover an eatery like OSB, that makes a decent bagel, when I moved to OKC 3 1/2 years ago. I was in Edmond at the time and went to the Covell location. We had delicious tuna sandwiches and Americanos and ate at a table in a cozy atmosphere. The place was crowded but service was prompt and friendly. We took bagels home.

Since then I have been to all the locations in the Edmond/OKC area with varying degrees of enjoyment ..and when it comes to take out, this is where the problem lies. Twice I’ve ordered tuna sandwiches from the Coltrane drive through where the tuna salad was so wet and loose it fell off the bagel and soaked the paper it was wrapped in. It’s a big mess, especially when you’re eating it in your car.

Today was the absolute worst. We went to the Coltrane drive through and ordered 2 small Americanos with creamer in the side, a plain bagel with lox spread, and some bagels to go. The coffee was filled to the brim and hard to remove the lid without it spilling and burning my hands. Seems common sense to leave a little room especially when you need space for the cream. I wondered why I received and was charged for 2 double shots Americanos when I asked for small ones. I also wondered why I was charged $3.39 for a flavored cream cheese bagel and another $1.50 for the flavored cream cheese (lox spread) so I went back into the store to ask. I was told that’s what you charge and the bill was correct. As you can see from the photo there’s hardly any lox spread on that bagel and if I was blindfolded I’d be hard pressed to tell you what kind of spread it is. There’s barely any lox or any flavor whatsoever in it. It also tasted off and not very fresh. I only ate half of it and about an hour later I was getting stomach cramps. Mostly, I really felt ripped off. Essentially, you’re charging $3.39 for a bagel that you’ve cut in half and an additional $1.50 for the cream cheese spread. Over $5.00 with the tax for an empty bagel is highway robbery.

I ordered a simple pizza bagel and they didn’t toast it or melt the cheese. They just put a blob of cheese on the cold bagel and put pepperonis on top.

Ordered at drive thru. Gluten free bagel avocado sunrise. The avocado was hard as a rock. I think there was 1 scrap of egg on there, and the bagel itself was absolutely horrible, like cold cardboard. I asked for it toasted.

Food was expensive for what you get plus they don't toast the bagel and just throw it together

Going through drive through many people standing around food pick up window area smoking - I don’t give any care if people want to smoke but allowing them to stand there and stink up interior of our car and myself while getting my food should not be allowed. Won’t be back, too many other options. I don’t care if people smoke but I don’t want exposed to it or stink from it. Yuck

Very clean & friendly environment. Very pleasant young lady that works the drive-thru on Sundays always greets me smiling & tells me to have a good day. I like the service I receive there & I will continue to come back.

This is a NYC style bagel and bagel sandwich shop which has a handful of branches around OKC including three locations in Edmond. You can find them at W. Covell, S. Coltrane and N. Penn. Opening hours are roughly 6am to 3pm (weekdays) and 7am to 3pm (weekends). I stopped by and enjoyed a pretty good Avo Surprise on Everything bagel. Americano coffee was also good. Seating area was casual and fine, service polite and timely, prices fine for what was served. On the whole, this was a good bagel sandwich, would be fine stopping by for another during future visits to the OKC area.

So disappointed with the online order I received this morning. I ordered a Carmel Macchiato, a fruit cup, and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese, seems simple enough right? Well first the strawberry cream cheese tasted super off, obviously I know it’s gonna be sweet but I sincerely thought it was cake frosting when I first saw and tasted it, I’ve never had strawberry cream cheese that color (it was incredibly bright almost neon pink, the picture really doesn’t do it justice) or that sweet from old school bagel cafe and I couldn’t eat it cause it made me absolutely sick to my stomach. The fruit cup was fine but the fruit was nasty and brown. The biggest disappointment of all though was the “Carmel Macchiato” which calling it that is an under joke considering THERE WAS NO COFFEE in my cup whatsoever, obviously I didn’t check it after they handed to me because she made it when I picked up my order, I guess it’s my fault for not watching her like a hawk making it the whole time but you know I just figured there would obviously be COFFEE in the coffee I ordered, but when I took a sip out of it I had to spit it out. I opened the lid to see if I just needed to stir it up, I stirred it up and it was actually all just milk and whatever syrup they put in it,, not even a drop of coffee in it, I even dumped some of it out to see if I was just going crazy and yup it was just a hot cup of milk and syrup. I would absolutely tell everyone to not go to this location, especially in the morning before you go to work cause it’ll just ruin your day like it did mine.

I think their bagels and cream cheese are really good and I enjoy the many options you have to choose. However, I’ve never been to a bagel shop that only puts cream cheese on half of the bagel. It’s happened the last two times that I’ve gone and I’ve had to go back in and ask for a side of cream cheese so that I could put cream cheese on the other half of the bagel. Additionally, when you go through the drive-through, they don’t give you napkins. It’d be great if they would be considerate of their customer and offer napkins, knowing that bagels w spread are often messy.

If youre going to order online then pick up at the store, just dont. My order was completely wrong. Hot drink, asked for cold and got no whipped cream. Neither of my bagels were toasted. Seems like a regular Sunday morning occurrence judging from the other reviews I have read.

Please Coltrane location, if you are out of jalapeño cheddar bagels, please do not melt a piece of cheese on top of a jalapeno bagel. This has occurred three times now! Please just say you are out. The Covell location has never done this so they will be my go to!

I've never had a bad meal or service.

Decent food, decent coffee. Good for a quick bite. Staff was friendly. 5 stars for offering gluten free bagels.

I would like to start off with saying that I have been coming to Old School Bagel for years and have always enjoyed them. However I have not ever been to this location… The hours on their door and on Google advertise them opening at 6:00 am. However, this clearly is not the case as their doors are still locked and their drive through being closed still at 6:15. I figured I would pull to the window to see if someone would acknowledge me there, nope. A woman chose to sit and stare at me instead of acknowledging a customer who was in her drive through during business hours. If you advertise business hours, those are your hours. Period.
