The worst customer service is NO customer service…..which is exactly what you will get at this Sonic. No training in customer service, cleanliness or anything else. Telling customers that next time they come they should use the 1st menu board before they approach the microphone….when there are NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the parking lot…..speaks to a need for control that should be beyond the confines of a Sonic to go line. We went elsewhere.

This location is "tricky". They are extremely slow, especially at the window. I waited for 7 minutes for a kids chicken strip meal. When I ask "how long to cook chicken?" the pitiful person at the window looked with her sad, uncaring eyes and said "I don't know" so.....that pretty much sums up that experience! I think improvement is needed for that location to make it. I know in won't be back. You can't cure stupid.

Saw this girl righting something down after I gave her my card and I saw her on her phone taking a picture of something which I think is my card information. And she took forever to give my card back to me. When I first asked if they had Apple Pay she said no but everywhere has Apple Pay so I don’t know why sonic wouldn’t

If you are in a hurry because you're on your lunch break don't come here. I got here at 12:10PM pushed the button to order my food. I waited till 12:26PM and decided I was there long enough, and ended up just going home to get a quick bite to eat. I've never had bad food here, but the service has always been super slow. The car hops were running around trying to stay caught up which tells me there is either a staffing issue or a management issue.

Slow as molasses. First attempt to give us our food was someone else's order. 13 minutes after immediately going to the head of the drive through line is not exactly "fast food" for 2 burgers, 1 tater tots, 1 onion rings

The location on Waterloo in Edmond has a reputation for very poor service. They are always slow and often get orders wrong. I know from experience that if I want to get my order without having to wait 30 minutes, I need to order ahead. So I did that just today and didn't order anything too complicated or make any special requests/substitutions. I ordered two Sonic blasts. As usual, I went through the drive thru and as I was pulling up, I could see that they were already backed up. There was someone waiting at the speaker in front of me for about 10 minutes before one car moved up and I was able to pull up to the speaker. I waited patiently as they slowly started handing out orders through the drive thru and the line in front of me started to dissipate while the line behind me was getting longer. I assumed they were trying to catch up before taking anymore orders, but after waiting another 10 minutes, the same care remained at the window and I still hadn't been helped. I started to wonder if maybe they had a large order, but I only saw them handed two drinks before pulling away. Even then, no one answered to take my order, so I decided to pull up, giving them the benefit of the doubt that the speaker was broken. When I pulled up, a woman asked how she could help us and I asked if their speaker was broken since there was a long line. She informed us it was not, but that they were just busy. I gave her my name and she retrieved my order. It was obvious my order was made long ago, because the ice cream was nearly melted, but I didn't have the time or patience to complain, so I left. I love Sonic and I've never had this kind of experience, especially on a repeated basis. But I doubt I will ever visit this Sonic again, which really sucks because it's the only one even close to my house out here. This particular store is really giving Sonic a bad rep.

Cons
1. Order size incorrect every time
2. Their machines sometimes don’t pop up to allow you to pay. So staff has to walk it inside. Takes more time.

Final Thoughts
If the card readers worked regularly and my order could be properly sized (large not medium) then this location would be great. Staff on all visits been very friendly. Food is yummy. If you are around consider it but be aware of your order details.

This is the worst Sonic in Oklahoma. nothing is every as ordered. and we order in the app so we know what we want, and we know we put it in correctly. WE swear we won't go back, but it is the closest fast food to our house out in the middle of nowhere so we cave an go back.... UGH! Do not go here! Unless you like to be disappointed.

It should NOT take 30 minutes to order one drink. I should NOT have to wait in the drive through, the car infront of me parked at the wondow for 10+ minutes. Didn't want to waste any more time than I did.

Went to a different location and the process of getting to a stall, ordering,and getting my drink took not even 2 minutes.
