We have eaten at this particular Taco Bueno for the past 35 or so years with a hiatus of about 18 years in the middle. We moved back to Edmond 2.5 years ago so have started revisiting this restaurant. And while their food is still mostly good, I am disturbed by several things at the restaurant. 1) Their guacamole is horribly salty. This is particularly troubling as I have a wife with high blood pressure, and 2) the restaurant is filthy, including the bathroom. When we arrived today (9-7-25) not one table was clean and the men's bathroom was horrible. Not only did it smell bad, but there was a large amount of trash on the floor. And the kitchen was disgusting. Taco Bueno is not a high-class restaurant, which Edmond now has many of, but they used to be at least clean and their food consistent. I'm sure we'll go back but it won't be often.

The good - the service- the guy at the window was great. Freindly, polite and gave me more than enough sauce without skimping. The bad - the seriously bad..... after nearly finishing one of my burritos in the car and handing it off to my son he notices a LIVE SPIDER COVERED in sauce crawling around from under the wrapper in-between the wrap itself. The scream nearly had me wreak the car neverless gave me a migraine I have yet to shake. Did I call? No, I dont think anyone would believe me at this point. A spider!?!.!. My gawd. That would do it for and anything Mexican for the next year or so as I just cant.....

Drive thru. Sat and the window after ordering for 18 minutes. One muchaco and mexi dip. Employees all on phones.
The food was so old and hard I couldn't even chew the rice. I also had missing items in my order. Waste of money and I will not be returning.

The guys are jerks. I asked questions about menu and they were annoyed. I specifically asked for nno dried beans and they literally loaded it on everything to be funny. Luckily im not allergic. Thought i try something new. No bueno taco again !
