Family owned and run business - new managers as of 2025. Every single meal at the table was amazing, service was great. Can’t recommend this place enough 🌟
Excellent service and food. Had $6.95 special cheese burger(grilled onions) and trimmings. Chose sweet potato fries as side. My wife had oatmeal with blueberries bacon and sourdough bread. Have excellent biscuits and gravy as side choice also. Rate this 5 star! Owner is a very caring entrepreneur. Support this fine business Larry Scott

The chicken and waffles with hot honey were tremendous!!! The small bites menu for the kids was another hit - lots of different combinations!
The service was great and they treated us so well and made us feel right at home.

Really awesome!
This place had great reviews so we decided to give it a try for brunch today.
We were not acknowledged, there is no seat yourself sign or anything. People who came in after us were greeted and got to order from the server. We did not and eventually just used the qr code on the table. There were two, but only one had a dine in option.
It seemed like they were short staffed but again we were never told that directly.
Ordering from the QR code you have to pay and tip before receiving any service.
Hoopla bowls weren’t the same thing described on the menu. No sauce or veggies. You pick one type of meat when it says it comes with chicken and bacon. It was literally just potatoes, a meat, eggs, and a SLICE of cheese. I wish I had taken a picture.
Also a regular old cup of black coffee was 4.25.

Making this post because it has already been so bad and we haven't even ordered food yet.
The waiter was acting so spastic and running around and had to come back twice to ask our drink order because he didn't write it down. Then brought my husband half a glass of orange juice and said that was all they had. It's 10:30 for a brunch place.
There were a total of 12 people in here, 2 of them were my husband and I. Everyone had their food orders placed aside from the two people that walked in with us.
We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait due to how backed up they are. We finally ordered our food after waiting nearly 20 minutes. I had to go up and ask for my unsweetened tea that I never got.
The staff need some serious training on how to conduct themselves and how to function in a restaurant setting. There did not seem to be any particular person in charge and everyone was just doing their own thing.
**Update**
We got our food. Both of us ordered the fully loaded biscuits-one with bacon and one with sausage. The food was good and biscuits were fluffy. But definitely does not make up for the lack of service overall.
Would not recommend for the food alone. Poor service killed it.

The Hive Eatery is a real gem near UCO!
The burger was amazing-juicy and full of flavor. But the best part? The customer service! The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better (Thank you Ning). This isn't fast food; it's a locally owned, Black-owned spot that's totally worth the wait. If you want great food and top-notch service, check this place out. Highly recommend!

I was in the area and wanted a burger, but 5Guys is so overpriced, so I found The Hive as an alternative. I'd never been here before. I viewed their menu online (date-stamped 8 weeks ago) and saw they had a good burger for $8.75, and it included fries! Sounded great compared to 5Guys. Unfortunately, when presented with the menu in the restaurant, it was obvious that their prices had recently undergone a considerable increase! That burger alone was now $11.50, and no longer included fries, which cost an additional $3.75. That is a 74% increase in price for the same meal, and their burger now costs more than 5Guys. Due to my budget, I opted to order the burger alone, which was a good basic burger. The server was extremely kind and attentive. From the time I entered the restaurant to the time I got my burger was 25 minutes. I don't know that I'll return due to their unexpected higher prices. I've included a photo of the menu today so others don't choose this establishment based on outdated prices, as I did.
Was an interesting visit. Not from the area, but the place had good reviews. Chicken had good flavor and tenders we good sized, final price was high, my opinion, for what it was, $72 for family of 3. Got to hear a disagreement between staff and comments about us coming in 2 hours before they planned to closed early, not what a customer wants to hear. Maybe just an off day.
