Ordered The Burger through doordash. It arrived with no lettuce, tomatoes, or red onion as advertised. The bun was stale and it tastes like it had been sitting a while. Do better folks.

Went there especially for the French Dip. It did not disappoint, hit THE spot. Coors Banquet on tap was a surprising plus. Fries were fire and after requesting and employing more of the amazing horseradish sauce combined with the aus jus made for a taste explosion. Service was top notch, at the counter, and the old Western (Gunsmoke I think) playing on the tv was an added ambiance bonus. It was a late lunch so I’ll have to return to try a cocktail.

I’m sad, because usually The Mule hits, but it was just kind of okay and off this previous time I went. Chicken in the sandwich was tough and so so dry— felt like it had been out all day. Also this feels like such a nitpick, but (and this might be personal opinion) I think if you’re putting cucumber in something, the slices should be thinner than blocks and if they aren’t, the skin should be peeled. It’s tough to eat a chunk of cucumber in a salad or a sandwich, but that might just be preference on my part. Finally, the onion rings were both doughy and undercooked. Service is always good and the vibes are good as well. Food was just okay.

The food is amazing as usual and the lunch special is always enough to feed myself and my kid. The macaroni pony and tomato soup combo will forever be unbeaten in my eyes. But the best part about this location is their management; After an unfortunate but minor incident with a server, the manager was very kind, understanding, and remedied the situation with swiftness. To Renda, thank you so much for your accommodation and thorough response to me. We love visiting for lunch and look forward to many more meals at The Mule
