The Sushi Bar in Edmond has quickly become one of our favorite spots for a night out. One of the main reasons is how well they take care of my wife, who has celiac. Every visit, the staff goes out of their way to make sure there’s no cross contamination, and they do it with care and courtesy rather than making it feel like an inconvenience. That kind of attention to detail makes a huge difference and gives us peace of mind when dining out.
On top of the excellent service, the food is consistently great. I’m a big fan of their steak and noodles, which are always cooked perfectly with just the right balance of flavor. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and never disappoints. My wife has several gluten free options to choose from, so it’s a place where we can both enjoy a full meal without worry.
Their drink specials are another highlight, offering a good variety at reasonable prices. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion, The Sushi Bar always delivers on quality and atmosphere. We always leave satisfied and looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for both food and service.

Starting off, Great service. I know its not much, but when a server brings me a refill of my coke without me asking or when I'm not completely finished, its the little things like that. Also, we stayed an hour and did not feel rushed to leave during the whole meal.
The only down side was after our waiter forgot to take our last request to the chef, which is not a problem to me at all since we ordered 7 different items across 1 hour, the roll came and it was over salted. Which sucked to leave on a negative note since everything else was great!
The atmosphere is alright. The long lounge tables that provide no back support as you eat and were a B to move up so I can eat with my kids next to me.

Tori, who was hosting (and training during my visit), was an absolute delight. She had the most calming and friendly disposition, which set such a positive tone for the evening. The manager was equally impressive — very professional, approachable, and clearly passionate about ensuring guests have a great time.
The staff is knowledgeable about the menu, always ready with great recommendations, and consistently presents themselves in a polished and professional manner. The facility is spotless, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the quality of service is unmatched.
Even though this location is a bit out of the way for me, it’s always worth the drive. Whenever I’m craving sushi, this will continue to be my go-to spot — hands down

Prior to tonight this was our favorite sushi restaurant. We always had good service and the quality and size of the rolls were great. Tonight, our waiter was not attentive and only changed his demeanor when he dropped off the ticket and was in a rush to get the payment. Also, the rolls were a lot smaller compared to previous times. Pretty disappointed after today.

We visited The Sushi Bar on Father’s Day to celebrate my husband, who loves sushi. I recently discovered I may have a mild fish allergy, so to be cautious, I specifically asked for a fully cooked roll. I noticed they didn’t have anything like a standard Vegas roll on the menu, so I politely asked the server if she could check with the manager about pricing and possible modifications.
From where I was seated—directly across from the sushi bar—I clearly overheard the exchange between the server and the sushi chefs, Victor and Andy. What I witnessed was shocking. One of them chewed her out right in front of guests, speaking disrespectfully about me and my request. He said he doesn’t make “Big Macs” and mocked my order as being “cheap,” implying I had poor taste. I was stunned—not only because I was simply trying to avoid a possible allergic reaction—but because his tone and language were incredibly unprofessional and demeaning.
Before leaving, I asked for an apology and received none. Instead, he laughed, rolled his eyes, and carried on as if this type of behavior was completely normal. Even the server was visibly uncomfortable and apologized sincerely, telling me that she too felt the chef’s behavior was out of line. The manager also acknowledged that the chef’s reaction was inappropriate.
This was meant to be a special day for our family, and the experience left a very bad taste. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the disrespect shown—both to a guest and a team member—was unacceptable. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and addresses how guests and staff are treated moving forward.
