The Sushi Bar is located near the corner of Northwestern and NW 178th streets in Edmond. Opening hours are 11am to 10pm (Mon to Sat) and 12pm to 9pm (Sun). They have a fair sized indoor seating area and do take-away as well. Menu features a wide range of Japanese speciality dishes including raw dishes, rolls and various platers. Recently had dinner here. The Naughty Girl salmon roll was good. Tuna Tataki and Yellow Tail with hot Korean style sauce (daily special) were both fresh and quite good. Edamame starter was fine as well. Service friendly, prices reasonable. Overall, this was a pretty good meal, recommendable for those who enjoy Japanese cuisine and searching for places to try in Edmond.

We loved this restaurant so much the last time, we just had to come back! This time we started out with the Basonator and Sushi Tacos that were included in the happy hour specials and I ordered a glass of bubbles that was of course delicous with all of the delicious sushi. Please do yourself a favor and order the sashimi sampler and just TRUST THE PROCESS AND CHOICES! You will not regret it. This is some of the most luscious, thick cut and delicous sashimi you will ever have! Our daughter and son in law ordered the teriyaki chicken and the steak udon noodles and both looked superb and received rave reviews! Hubby and I ordered the wakame and Ika salads, the 18 piece sashimi platter and the Brandon Scott Roll. We like to order the hall of fame rolls as they are more substantial, particularly the rice free ones. Downside is they do not hold together as well but that is fine with me to get more veggies and protein in.

I swear to goodness this restaurant has some of the most polite, kind and PATIENT waitstaff I have ever encountered! I will just leave that at THAT! I cannot wait to come by to The Sush Bar the next time we are in town. Simply love this place!

Sushi is going to cost a pretty penny we all know that and id be scared if it didn't. I had a friend who loved sushi but she only got it from the big Chinese buffet in her town. I hate buffet sushi because its nothing like the rolls made from better ingredients and traditional to have rolls made fresh for you, anyway long story short she was blown away by her sushi and couldn't stop telling everyone about how good it was. She was like me growing up in Oklahoma and the best Chinese bar had everything and always that same nasty greasy sushi and just never thought of actually ordering that stuff ever in my life. My wife from Virginia loved sushi like she loved good wine. I was hesitant when she made me go eat it, but I became a fan immediately. I picked the sush bar because they are fairly priced compared to traditional Japanese restaurants. I can't remember what I had but she could tell you in such a happy way you'd smile, thank you Sushi Bar for serving awesome food! Of all my ex girlfriends she still loves me for some reason. 🍣🍜

The staff, food and atmosphere was great. Miso soup wasn't very rich but the sushi was fresh and amazing, no minced meats to hide things here. Best place in Edmond and possibly the best in Oklahoma.

First time I've been in a couple years. After our 2 favorite sushi restaurants slowly went downhill in quality we decided to chance sushi bar again.

Sunday evening at 6pm its packed. 4 sushi chefs, multiple waiters running around. Good sign.

It was 2 of us and we love our sushi. After ordering a mix of rolls, nigiri, and some special sea bass we waited with anticipation.

The food took a bit but we didnt hold that against them. Again the place was packed!

Once the sushi came out we loved every single item. The yellowtail was exceptional and we both wanted to note that. The branzino was pretty tasty and had a slight chewy texture that was pleasant and welcomed.

The pinnacle of the entire operation was our waiter, Rune. We watched him hustle and bustle across the restaurant moving faster than almost everyone else. He was busy but took time and was aware of what was going on at all times. It is not often we feel like a waiter/waitress is beyond exceptional but this is one of those times. Im sure the restaurant knows this and im sure he is a popular request for service. Tell Rune he has legendary status with us!

Sushi Bar! You all are slaying!

We really loved our time at The Sushi Bar! It was our first time and it did not disappoint. We sat at the sushi bar and it was really cool to watch the sushi get made and chat with the chefs. Pictured are the naughty girl roll and bang bang yellow fish. Everything was yummy! Can’t wait to go back!
