Torchy's is street taco specialist that started as a food truck in Austin back in 2006. Nearly 20 years later they have over 110 branches around the country including a few locations in the OKC area. I recently stopped by their Edmond branch at Bryant Square on East 2nd Street. There is a fairly large indoor seating area along with some outdoor tables as well. Opening hours are around 10am to 10pm give or take an hour depending on the day.
Menu is what you find at other Torchy's branches, mostly tacos with a handful of other Mexican food items. Portion sizes are pretty good, 2 soft tacos is enough for most, order a third if you have a big appetite or are particularly hungry. They have chicken, beef, seafood and veg taco options, mix and match based on your interest.
On the occasion, I really enjoyed the baja shrimp taco which had nice spritely flavours. The fried avocado taco was pretty good as well. Chicken fajita taco was very tasty, beef fajita was just ok, the steak was quite hard and chewy. Would just go with chicken next time. Margaritas served on the day were strong and tasty as well. This was a fun dinner, one I'd happily repeat when in the mood for some good tacos.

The dishes definitely had a strong kick, which some might enjoy, but the dining experience was affected by how loud it was while we were eating. Also noticed there weren’t many employees around, which made service a bit slow.
