Going to U Shabu is my weekly routine! Nice service, food is always fresh. Puy, the owner is always there to make sure everything is good. Such a great hotpot spot that you don’t want to miss in Okc.

This is a little gem in Edmond, across from UCO. The place is nice for 1 to 4 people. Because costumers seat side by side, carrying a conversation won’t be easy. It does not bother me, so I won’t take any stars. The young ladies helping with the menu and the hot pots are super friendly, and ready to help. We have been back twice in less than a month. It is that good! If you are into Japanese food, this place is a must try! Excellent!!!!

Lovely experience, best during a weekday. Great service.
Tried a mixture of the sukiyaki and Tom yum soup, great combo.

Easiest way I had was to just dump my meats in my hotpot, let it cook for a few minutes and had rice and appetizers while it cooked.

Did two rounds and that was awesome to be able to try many things

A great place to have your first hot pot experience. They walked us through the pricing, menu, and how to cook the food. We went for a birthday and it was a really fun dinner. The food was fresh and delicious.

U Shabu is such a fun dining experience. Offering a few different AYCE price points lets you enjoy very fresh, tasty food based on your budget. Their broths are very fresh and tasty; plus, they will refill your cooking pot if you need more. For the menu items I’ve eaten, their food is fresh and cooks perfectly in the broth. Whether a single diner or a large group, it’s a fun atmosphere for social diners or a relaxed and recharging vibe for those wanting more “me” time — yes, it really is both!

Super delicious! And people are super nice and welcoming, on our first time they explained everything and helped us choose the options. Added to our fav restaurant list!

Our group never having tried hotpot before, the two servers we had were amazing. We lucked out and got there just before lunch rush, and they took their time explaining everything and gave us several options to order. a la carte, or all you can eat. They let us sample many of the sauces and dipping sauces, offered advice on what options would best suit our meat choices. You are sitting in a straight line, so it is a bit hard to talk to everyone in your group. We were a group of 6. Also, they tipped us on putting garlic in the sesame dipping sauce. YUM

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious. There's a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and seafood to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The quality and selection definitely exceeded our expectations.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. A rude young Asian woman with short blonde hair was assisting us, and her demeanor gave the impression that she didn't want to be there. She frequently stared at our side of the table in a way that made us feel uncomfortable, and her overall attitude was dismissive. We also witnessed another couple, who were visiting for the first time, receive a very curt and unwelcoming explanation of the menu. They ended up leaving shortly after.

The ambiance is good, but the Asian short blonde lady kept turning off and on the music. We felt disturbed.

While the food is excellent, the service experience significantly impacted our visit. I hope management addresses the staff training, as better service would make this place a top-tier dining destination.

Wound up here by mistake, my wife convinced me to stay and I’m glad I did. The food was so fresh. Unlimited wagyu, seriously. We got the tonkatsu broth, and the spicy Chinese soup broth. Wow, every flavor hit in a very special way. If you are a ramen lover, they got you covered as well, the BROTHS and WAGYU man, can’t stress that enough. I would have taken pictures but I couldn’t stop eating. I will be coming back very soon. Worth every penny.

It was a lot of fun, the servers explained everything, allowed us to taste broth prior to starting, they were very nice and accommodating. There were 6 of us and we never had empty drinks and the food was fantastic!! Loved this place!!
