So, this one will be a little different. We were on our way to Weatherford, OK from Amarillo, when our truck overheated. We had to take a break. Get some anti-freeze (which was completely out of the truck) and grab a bite to eat. It so happened to be Valentine's Day. I was traveling with my teenage son at the time and missing my husband. So, we opted to have a good steak dinner to shake off the truck trouble and the blues of missing dear 'ole dad on Valentine's Day.
I have to tell you I was shocked! It was delicious! The service was wonderful, the food was cooked to order and the cost was very reasonable.
I might just just sneak back over there with the hubby one weekend to share this little gem.
Thanks Fred's for saving my Valentine's! Y'all turned my frown upside down. I'll be back!!

Fenix was an excellent server. The food was perfectly cooked, service was fast and attentive, and the music was the perfect volume. If you have a chance and room for dessert, highly recommend! I had the cookie skillet and the rest of the family had apple cobbler. Perfection all the way around.

Loved the place plus the chicken fried steaks for $4.99 are well worth the money. All employees very friendly
Food was ok, NY Strip was bland and that was with mushrooms added. Ordered it Med-Rare and it was close. Fries were also ok. They forgot to bring my co-workers baked potato, server said he didn't see it and forgot about it. Free rolls are free for a reason & the special butter is not that special, they brought 3 rolls for 2 people (can't count, 2 or 4 rolls would have been better). There was a $3 price difference between the website menu & printed menu for breaded mushrooms. Took 20+ minutes to get a beer & bloody mary. Was told that the bar tender had to get Zing Zang mix. Menu said homemade mix. Only here a couple nights and this place was recommended by a close business. Not a great place but it was somewhat ok. Also they add a surcharge if you use a credit card. So bring $30-$50 cash per person if you don't want to pay it.

Great food even better prices. This place IA customer and pocket book friendly. The hand breaded chicken fry for $5 is a steal. The catfish was great. Highly recommend.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿️ accessible tables, restroom 🚻 is difficult to enter & exit without assistance. Too many doors! Not always clean.
