It was ehh, just ehh. My omelet was mostly cold and really not that great. They only had 1 waitress for the entire place, and she was frantic the whole time.

My family of 4 stopped in for lunch on our way to the museum. Janice was the only server working and had a full house. I've waited tables in the past, and I could not have handled a rush on my own with a fraction of the patience and grace this lady did. Nothing was overlooked, our food was perfect, and we maybe had a 10 minute wait (if that.) Once our food arrived, Janice still stopped by to check on us frequently. One lady provided some of the best table service I've ever seen! I ordered biscuits and gravy with home fries. My partner had a mushroom and Swiss with fries. My son did a plain burger with chips. My daughter had grilled cheese and cottage cheese. Everything was fresh, tasty and exceeded our expectations. For a family of 4 our bill was a little less than $50, and honestly that's amazing with the way prices are now. Especially for the quality of food and service. We will definitely be eating here again!
The food was very good. Large portions and good prices. The waitress for some reason were very stressed by either the manager or owner. One waitress complained to me about the way she was treated by her boss and the other waitress was on her phone outside while we were leaving cursing about her boss on her phone. It was not a comfortable atmosphere.

We visited this place for breakfast and had coffee, French toast, hash browns, chicken, and scrambled eggs. It was a proper English breakfast — very delicious and comforting, just like Grandma’s cooking, made with love. Janice was very sweet, and she mentioned that she has 30 years of experience.
