I love coming here. Whenever I've ordered a meal it feels more like a home cooked meal. The breakfast anytime is my favorite. They have coffee to go with your breakfast or aguas frescas along with soda, juice, and beer bottles. And some desserts.
Dined solo, got their Tamales which were terrific (took half home). Nice people, family business, and they seem to genuinely care.

Why haven’t I known about this place. Don’t judge them from the outside. The food is authentic and homemade. We enjoyed everything that we had. The Gorditas with the barbacoa was our favorite. The beans which are usually an afterthought for most restaurants were delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try the breakfasts. The waitress was so kind and helped our kids practice their Spanish too! So happy to support a local family.

An extra 5 min off the highway was totally worth it. We got breakfast burritos while traveling through on I40. The burritos were a great value for the portion size and the tortilla was high quality. I would recommend and will probably be stopping by next time we make this trip. The freshly squeezed juice was a hit and the young ladies working the counter were helpful and provided great service.
