Once upon a time, the twisted mule was called the country palace... It was the place to go on Friday and Saturday night... But over the years it's changed haha several times, and well I suppose it done degree Elk City has changed, so it's lost some of its luster... That said, it's better than it had been and it's a good place to grab a beer and play a game of pool... But it's not the place it was once upon a time.
A cute little venue in Elk City that I honestly didn't know about until I visited. The bathroom stalls are an adventure to figure out, but with enough alcohol, it becomes a real hoot!

Great place to stop by and have a few drinks, play some pool, and find a good dance partner. You'll have aang good time by yourself or with a group of friends. Very easy to find and plenty of parking. Hotels and a hop and a skip away or you can easily catch a cab if you need one after the night comes to an end. DJ Rob will not let you down if you stop in.
