Not only is this the best Mexican restaurant in Enid, but after living in 6 states and traveling a good deal across the country I can confidently say it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the USA. Chicago, widely regarded as having the best food scene in the country, does not have anything that remotely compares to Sandy’s tacos. Even Albuquerque did not have a restaurant that was as good (although I did have a meal in someone’s home that was close). In addition to the absolutely incredible food served at this restaurant, the owners are some of the very best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My mother, also a Mexican chef, loved the food here. We got to know the owners a bit from visiting frequently for their food, and when she became ill they visited her in the hospital and even met with her dietitian to ensure they could make some adjustments so that she could continue eating at their restaurant. There is no restaurant, Mexican or otherwise, that I would rather eat at than Sandy’s tacos.

This is one of the first restaurants I’ve been to since being diagnosed with celiac disease. They were very kind about accommodating that to make sure that there was no cross contact from gluten on my food. They cleaned the grill and used all new utensils as well as scooping from a new container to ensure no cross contact
Great food. Only one of 3 places me and my husband will go for Mexican food. There menudo is divine. Staff is always so friendly. My only complaint would be how small the place is. It definitely gets more people then it can seat.
