This place was amazing!
It’s very simple in its appearance when you first arrive, but the interior blew me away! Far from simple inside.
Spacious room (we stayed in the King), CLEAN, sliding door (loved the option to let air through), lots of seating outside. There’s a gas fire pit for use, grills, a small microwave and nice sized fridge, and cornhole was outside for use. Lots of open space outside for any other activities you choose to bring with you. These guys provide almost everything you could need. We brought our dog, and he enjoyed having space to sniff and check out.
Alabaster Caverns is so close you can walk to it. Boiling Springs Park was nearby as well, so we were able to enjoy both during our stay.
We will definitely be back for a family getaway.

We stayed here this weekend, and recommend it to anyone. Everything was really top notch clean, tidy and well maintained. Very quiet, laid back with great scenic views. Spent a lot of time in the outdoor cooking area. Very well stocked and setup made it easy to feed the whole family. We’ll be back!

Loved being only a stone's throw from alabaster caverns, the view outside was amazing and loved watching the horses go about their business.
Only disappointment was being unable to see much in the sky once it got dark, but picked a bad timeslot to go! Would return again if in the area.

Super nice rustic rooms! Wish it had some things like toaster oven or something for an extended stay just because it is a little bit of a hike to mooreland or freedom but other than that small thing it is amazing!

Stayed here with my bestie while attending the Selman Bat Watch at Alabaster State Park on 7/31. The lodge is SUPER cute! Rooms are clean & spacious! Lodge is located on a lovely piece of property & it’s very quiet & peaceful. No complaints. Awesome views of the thunderstorms too.
