“Giving a big thank you to Colton and his crew for the evening of 10/8/22, you all had a full house and you still were able to accommodate my wife's Alpha-gal mammal allergy with a great catfish dinner, she has had no allergy reaction, which means we did not have to go to the hospital. When we camp again or come visit we will sure to be by for another meal, thank you all again“

“If you ever find yourself traveling through Northeast Oklahoma, near the city of Grove, do yourself a favor and stop in at Drake’s Restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. I've eaten here several times. This is their Chicken Fried Steak. It was the special today. $10.49, and it comes with three sides. The gravy is located on the BOTTOM of the steak so you can see what you're getting. At OTHER restaurants, the steak is breaded AT THE FACTORY, and shipped to a restaurant, with gravy already on it. It's tough and stringy. NOT AT DRAKES! The steak is pounded IN HOUSE and breaded ON THE PREMISES. I ordered extra gravy for mine today, which it didn't need, but that's just me. I don't drink soda, so I had gotten ice water with lemon. Any time I advertise/promote a business, it's one I've dealt with PERSONALLY. Stations that carry The Vinyl Grotto Radio Show will interject their own commercials for various businesses, without my endorsement. That DOESN'T mean they're a bad business, it just means I've not dealt with them personally. But with Drake’s Restaurant, I have on numerous occasions. “Always love ribcrib but think joplins is better. This one in grove ok the pulled pork was cold. I like it a little warm when served. You did get alot though I'll give em that. Didn't care for the coleslaw it was too dry.The waitress was attentive but a little too much for me. Constantly checking with you. I find that annoying.“

“We love this place, the staff is incredibly warm. They make you feel as if you're a welcome guest. The manager/ owner came around to check in with the guests, which is always nice. The food was really good, well prepared and our waitress Shelby J was so sweet and personable. We will definitely be back.“

“We had a really nice meal. We were staying at the resort and spent our final evening here. Drinks were done well. Our server was pleasant. The food was great. My husband and our friends all ordered steaks, they all were very happy with them. I ordered the cauliflower steak and it was very flavorful and I appreciated the vegetarian option. The deserts were the only disappointing part of the meal. We ordered the brownie with mousse. It came straight from the fridge and was hard and difficult to eat. It would have been much better if it was warm.“
