VERY Grand place... Otherwise, AWESOME! since they moved to Monkey Island, they have more room and etc. This place Rocks!! I went there with my neighbor, she bought lunch for us. It was my 57th birthday. Food is so Filling and so Awesome, I couldnt eat it all brought it home. The owner makes Awesome Homemade Soups. I like the Cream of Brocolli its One of the Best! Its available to go for a Price. When you go Tell the Owner David sent ya!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Chickenella’s on Grand Lake! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing — a perfect place to enjoy breakfast together. We ordered the avocado toast and the kitchen sink with a side biscuit and gravy, and every bite was fresh, delicious, and just the right amount of food without feeling heavy.
The coffee was amazing and truly stood out. A little insider tip: don’t forget to flip the menu — that’s where you’ll find their freshly made lattes, espresso, and chai, which are absolutely worth trying.
Chickenella’s is a spot we’ll definitely return to. Great food, great coffee, and a cozy vibe that made our morning memorable.

Diner beware. Such a disappointing experience this morning. We waited to be sat (2 adults and a high chair), which is no problem at all, it was very busy for the Labor Day weekend. Once we were sat and had ordered, we waited. And waited. And waited. After 45 mins and asking the server how much longer, she said they “lost our ticket” and hadn’t even started our food. Our toddler was in tears because we had been there for over 90 mins and still she had not eaten. We left without eating, daughter in tears, and an unapologetic server. I understand mix ups happen, but no effort to make it right, offer to rush our food, prepare it to go, or even just offer an apology. Such a bummer.

Cute restaurant by the lake. Cute decorating in private rooms - food was nicely portioned, and flavourful - Avacado toast w/ egg, kitchen sink biscuits, giant pancakes… and signature brunch cocktails. Service was friendly but slow and awkward - distracted from the dining experience.

Wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. We waited for a table upon arrival 20 minutes. We waited for coffee for 20 minutes. We waited for cold breakfast for 40 minutes. There was no butter for our toast but there was jelly that we declined. There was a gnat stuck in the topping of the cinnamon roll special. We waited for our check after asking for it for 20 minutes. For the quality of the food and the accompanying service, the price did not match. Not by a long shot. I finally walked up to the bar to try to pay for our food and that's when I got the attention of Trinity V when she wanted to take my money. Otherwise she wasn't interested in having us as customers. We had better service from the other servers than from our own waitress. When we questioned why our food was taking so long she tried to blame it on the party of 10 that was seated after us...the party of 10 ahead of us was served and gone. Had our food been good, hot and fresh, I might have bought her fake excuse how the other servers were able to take care of their tables while she was not. The main host didn't bother to stop by our table to check on us and ask about our experience...I really hope he's not one of the owners, because if so that's really a shame for what could have been a great way to save this atrocious experience in customer service. I was asked by the bartender (when I was waiting for Trinity V to realize I was done with her nonsense) how everyone was. All I could say was BAD. And I just looked at her and said it was bad from the minute we got there. We thought it would be a nice choice to try another area business that we had not yet tried. Our mistake. We will not make that mistake again.
My husband and I ate her for lunch. Being seniors we split a turkey club and a dessert. The sandwich was generous and delicious and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had! We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
