Las Palmeras is one of many Mexican food spots in Grove. However, it's lower on my favorites list. I tried a combination plate, and it came out like 3 minutes after I ordered, so service is very fast. But it was semi-bland. The chips tasted like the oil they use to fry needs to be changed. I overheard another table order an orange salsa, and I wish I had known that was an option because I would have tried it. It's clean and pretty small inside. Overall, I think it's good, but not great. There are better options in Grove.

They were very nice, checked on us often, very clean, courteous, offered special, and were very prompt. All the staff were dressed and groomed well. Their smiles were on at all times. Very serequinox with the lighting and music. It made the atmosphere delightful.

I was not overly impressed. The chips that were given to us when we sat down were very over-cooked and had a bad aftertaste. When we asked about it, we were told that was it...the manager gave us a few looks after that. I ordered Tacos al Carbon, which I have eaten since I was a child, but they were so spicy I couldn't eat them. Two of us ordered them, and neither of us could eat them. The margaritas were good, but for $5.50 each, there was very little actual drink in the glasses.Overall, I would not go back there. I will say our waitress was WONDERFUL. She was great.

We got the fajitas and the steak is thinly sliced.. mostly onions… hardly any peppers. It has no flavor and it honestly is unseasoned like everything else.The salsa literally tastes like marinara sauce. ?

Been to this place many times even brought friends. It has always been extremely good food and service, but tonight my husband and I went there, they weren't real busy. Food was awesome but the service was really bad. Had to ask several times for salsa and tortillas. Never offered to fill our drinks, my husband even tried getting waiters attention but he couldn't. Had to take food that was leftover home in a wax sheet from. Chips. Could not get a to go box. I really hate to write a bad review at pur favorite place to eat, but come on how hard is it to check on your customers.
