Matt's place used to be the best place in town to eat since his passing unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill big time. Matt always took pride in the food that he served. not sure what's going on anymore but no one seems to have pride in what they serve. two weeks ago prime rib was horrible and tonight I ordered filet and it looked like ribeye cut in half. certainly did not taste like a filet!!

We had a party of 6 that included my mom and her two sisters. A very special meetup because it is rare for these ladies to get together like this. The server and staff were super friendly and patient (we were there for over 2 hours), and the food was good - highly recommend the fried mushrooms! Tasty pineapple upside-down cake too. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be back to Matt’s Place.
Great breakfast. Will definitely return. The crispy chicken salad is pretty dang good as well.
