One of the best meals I've ever had. Was definitely worth the long drive. Our server was wonderful and they had electric harp players which really made the setting feel special. Hope to go back soon.

We have eaten here many times and have never had a single meal that wasn’t full of flavor. The clam strip appetizer with in-house tarter leaves you feeling like you are on the New England coast. Hands down the best I have ever had outside of New England. The steaks are amazing. The service is outstanding. The last few times Lakin has been our server and is always friendly and attentive. We have been able to try many menu items including a combo dessert of fried cheesecake wontons with the best bread pudding- delicious! Highly recommend!
Food is good. I hear the prime rib is good, but the two times I tried to order it, they were out.Burger was good, pasta is good.

To start, this was a birthday dinner and I had high hopes considering the reviews. Upon sitting, we were served water that was left on hostess stands / without coverings/ and there was stuff floating in my glass. I got a different drink. We ordered the Irish egg rolls app- which were weird as they were under seasoned and served with a Thai sweet sauce instead of a spicy mustard that would have complemented it better. 2 entrees Elk Chop/ Mahi Mahi. Elk chop was cooked well at a nice medium rare-however the char on the bones were so extreme it’s all you could smell. Then the red wine reduction was not reduced enough so it was just boozy and not sweet- no balance. The potatoes were a hard clump on the plate. The green beans which are technically haricots verts as they were long and skinny - were over cooked without any snap left but were tasty. The Mahi Mahi was served with CousCous and it was asked if there was quinoa in anything as there was an allergy at the table- after being assured there wasn’t any- I dug into the green beans and when I hit the couscous I looked down and saw a grain mix that was used did indeed contain quinoa. I had to scrape it off my fish so I could at least eat that- that was it. We hurried up and left in case I reacted. Thankfully I did not. This should have been known by the staff. Also, I do not understand why paprika was sprinkled over both plates like it’s was a garnish. It was strange and all you could smell. Between the paprika, burnt bone smell and being served an allergen we will not be back.

Food was ok. The burger would have been better with a different bun. The flavor of the burger was great, but the bun seemed to be dry. Two others in our party had sandwiches also anouther burger and a chicken sandwich. They both agreed it could have used a different bun. The staff was wonderful. The only down side is there is no dock to park at so don't try and take boat to go.

The poppers were terrible. They were flat with very little taste. I think they were leftover and reheated. The spinach dip was pretty bland. Very disappointed ?
