Beautiful place. Great food.
Absolutely Amazing Resort — Our Favorite Stop of the Entire Trip!
The Regatta on the Grand RV Resort is truly something special! It’s located right on a peninsula, so you have lake views all around — absolutely stunning from every angle. You can sit at your site all day just soaking in the scenery. Each site has a pergola, a comfy outdoor couch, table and chairs, a wood fire pit (yes, they even provide the firewood!), and a propane BBQ with propane included.
The attention to detail here is unmatched. The staff meet and greet you, escort you to your site, help you get parked, and make sure you have everything you need. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Trash pickup is provided, and every evening at 5 o’clock, there’s margarita time — always served with smiles and the friendliest attitude!
The resort even has two restaurants on-site!
The Drift is an upscale restaurant with excellent food and attentive service.
The Boom is a lively sports bar with dozens of TVs, comfy seating, and another team of friendly staff. The burgers at The Boom are great! The pizza wasn’t our favorite (a bit too thick and bready for our taste), but that’s probably just us.
The sites themselves are beautifully designed — all concrete, perfectly level, and most are long enough to accommodate any size RV. We travel in a 45-foot motorhome with a tow, and parking was effortless. One thing we really appreciated is that, unlike some luxury RV resorts, The Regatta doesn’t restrict the kind of RV you have. Everyone is welcome — from beautiful Newell motorcoaches (and wow, you’ll see a lot of them here, since the Newell plant is only 25 miles away!) to 5th wheels and travel trailers. The only requirement is that your rig should be newer and in great shape — fair enough for such a beautiful resort!
Some of the sites are privately owned, and honestly, we caught ourselves daydreaming about how amazing it would be to stay here for a whole season. A couple of sites were even for sale — talk about tempting!
When our car broke down and we had to unexpectedly extend our stay, the owners and staff were so understanding and accommodating. Even their “oh, shoot” site (the one they offer when you need an unplanned extended stay) was fantastic — not directly on the lake, but still with lake views, a pergola, outdoor furniture, bar-height table with chairs, and a BBQ grill. Such an amazing site would be a Premium at ANY other lake resort!!!
This resort ended up being one of the biggest highlights of our entire coast-to-coast trip. Thank you so much, Caitlyn and Marce, for your kindness, hospitality, and for creating such a wonderful place. We can’t wait to come back and stay with you again!
Unbelievable service and food highly recommended.
The Regatta on Grand is Absolutely, Awesomely Amazing Luxury Waterfront RV Resort tha we have ever stayed at.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and our site had a wonderful view. Customer service was excellent, the servers who came by were friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were good as well, though some portions were on the smaller side. For example, the bruschetta came with very little bread, and when we asked for more, we were told we’d need to order an entirely new appetizer, which felt a bit unreasonable.
Unfortunately, what really took away from the experience , and why this isn’t a 5-star review — was the constant construction noise from a nearby privately owned site. From early morning until evening, we heard nail guns, saws, and hammering, even on the weekend. It made it impossible to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space we paid for. We were at site 20, and the noise came from about two sites over. Because of this, we ended up leaving a day early and likely won’t return, which is a shame because the property itself has so much potential. They do not offer and veteran/military discounts.
This place was awesome. Staff (Caitlyn N) and service were 10 Stars!! Very spacious, clean and easy to get in and out of. The covered seating with patio furniture, grill, and personal fire pits were comfortable and spacious. The lake was a little chilly, but it is October. The hot tub was spot-on and clean. Wonderful view, clean and peaceful. We will definitely be back!! Until next time.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Too right for blood since my accident but had see top of the rv park with spots available to purchase. A gated community
Concierge service, covered patio with couch, grill, lights, two chairs with a fire pit. Excellent lake view. Water pressure!!! Level, concrete pad. Pets welcome!
The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding. My only gripe is that the crust of the pizza i ordered wasnt faborable in my opinion
First time visiting. Loved the sites, the food, and drinks. The service is top notch. Thank you for the great weekend. Will be back for sure.

People!! This cute little place is the best!! Top notch sites that are so easy to set up… actually the easiest we’ve had. Perfect for a group to camp together! Wonderful location close to town for extras. AND the staff are by far the selling point!! From the personalized greeting, assuring that we were escorted to our weekend home, proper set up Q&A, to friendly drinks at 5, trash pick up, and new friends! You cannot ask for a better experience. The restaurant downstairs is too notch and amazingly prepared food. The sports bar upstairs is perfect for the fall game days!! Do NOT pass this place by …spring, summer AND fall.
We had the pastrami Ruben sandwich, loaded baked potato, and wedge salad. Such a cool atmosphere. The food was so amazing. Very high quality!
Love coming here every year. It is quiet and right off the lake. It is gated. There are 2 restaurants in front. Stores not far away if u need to go to the store.
Nice place to stay similar to a KOA. Lake front and drinks is very nice! It is fairly close to the highway so you’ll have that noise at night
Just had a great long weekend at the Regatta.Theres not a bad site in the place, the views were amazing and it was pet friendly . The hospitality was outstanding, the restaurants were both great and they have the friendliest staff. Highly recommend!
