The food has always been good when we have come to Billy Sims. The staffing this time around was less than good. They were annoyed and upset that we (and the long line of customers) were wanted to eat here! The staff this day just seemed to be annoyed with the job and each other.

Well the kid that made my food sat 2 tables away from me right after giving me my plate , as I am eating , he starts sniffling loud ! Loud enough to get my attention , I look over and he is wiping snot all over his hands and then wipes it on his face ( gross ! ) this goes on for several long minutes , then he gets up , grabs a napkin from the drink area , blows his nose in my direction , throws the tissue in his pocket , wipes his face again with his hands , and then wipes the left over snot onto his gym shorts , he sits back down. My appetite is ruined but what happened next is even more gross , another customer walks in , and without washing his hands he fixes the next persons order. I tell the manager , after I leave I am getting in the car , the managers talk to him and they start laughing. So I would assume all the food is probably nasty at this pointThis is the third time I have had a teenager doing something gross or stupid while I am eating here , first two times were doable but after this , I Won’t be back ever againStaff better employees , it’s starts with the manager in my opinion. I would fire him on the spot if it was my business but what do I know !?And of course , no apology form the manager or employee

The most delicious barbecue brisket and turkey I have ever ate from a restaurant.
So annoyed of this establishment. This is the second time I’ve paid $20 for a 2 meat combo. Don’t get the sides I paid for and get beans, which my family absolutely hates beans, so when I get home 25+ minutes away and realize that this has happened a second time (in a row) I immediately call insanely disappointed because really, their meats suck, I’m going because I love the potato salad. Manager did not GAF. free dessert, literally don’t care for their $6 pudding and Oreos so no thanks I just want what I paid for and ordered. So go here if you want the complete wrong order! What a shame, because the old manager that used to be here never had any complaints and I’ve been going here for two years now. Never again.

We have been in Guthrie for a few days for the Barrel Race at Lazy E. We have been to Billy Sims BBQ three times and everything we ordered has been delicious. The ribs are so tender and cooked just right. And I love the macaroni and cheese dishes. The staff has been very friendly and efficient. Great place in Guthrie to get good BBQ at reasonable prices.
Best barbecue spare ribs in Oklahoma. Tender and meaty with little to no fat. Choice of sauces and sides. 3 types of potato salad. Pre-order takeout for large gatherings such as holidays or tailgating. Full slabs available.Parking: Parking right next to restaurant.

Very good brisket sandwich, our granddaughters loved the mac & cheese. It’s counter ordering & pick up - dining room available to eat in. Everything including bathrooms need a good cleaning

We ordered 2 double meat meals 08-06-23 I got all scrap rib tips I wouldn’t give a child the green beans had no flavor at all coleslaw was sour and I believe it’s what cause our food poisoning. They need the health department to make some surprise
