I was down in Guthrie visiting my mom who moved from Miami to Texas. SHE WAS VISITING FRIENDS IN GUTHRIE we both love Mexican. Type in to my GPS. Mexican food near me. El rodeo it was two blocks from my destination. It was the best hole in the wall I have been to in a long time.. The waiter was excellent and knowledgeable about the the atmosphere was great also. I would recommend this spot to my friends and family!!!!! Dishes Was: Chicken Sour Cream Enchiladas, Rice, and Beans.

Placed a to go order over the phone. Then picked up my food and as I was getting on the highway I realize I have NO plastic ware to eat my food with and was given ONE little napkin! To go orders should automatically ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT be given plasticware n multiple napkins.

Not impressed, unfortunately. May have had too high of expectations. Food was not great. Service was so so. Salsa was awful. Cheese sauce tasted weird. Meal prices are decent but they get you with the extras. A tablespoon of guac. for 3.29, same for sour cream, etc. Ended up being 67.00 for a family of 3. Will not be back. The other Mexican food place across town will continue to be the go to spot for us.

The food was awful the street tacos had old dried up meat I also had a dish with garlic shrimp the garlic was so overwhelming I had to wipe it off then couldn't finish them Not a good experience Will not be returning

I come to El Rodeo for the delicious authentic tacos. The chips are weak, but 5 stars for those street tacos.

The service here sucked. Our server was so rushy and my kids got servers frozen corn dogs... the server offered chicken straps instead of fresh corn dogs and my kids were not happy at all. They didn't even eat there food. El rodeo will never get my business again.
