Margaritas, frankly, WEAK! Taste was mostly fruity…sad. If they can get this right, I’ll gladly recommend to others.

Senior Lopez is trash

I've been here a couple of times now and I'm definitely not impressed with their service, the atmosphere is super crowded and irritating, and the food is what I would consider watered down Tex-Mex. This is just one of those small town staples that everyone is fixed on for some reason. If you want some quality Mexican food in town, just go to the other side of town and drop in El Rodeo.

I'm really not sure what happened to this place. We used to love coming and getting fajitas to share and they were absolutely delicious. However, things have completely changed now. Service is pretty close to terrible. Brought out our food and even though we did need drink refills our waiter was no where to be found. Food was worse. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. What he received was 2 hard corn tortillas barely rolled (because they wouldn't stay together, the tortillas weren't warm) then let's talk about the sauce ok anyone that's been to a restaurant can tell the difference between cream fresh and sour cream sauce. They took a squeeze bottle and just squeezed it over the top. It was disgusting, beans and rice were off. No taste to the beans and crispy rice. The only thing decent was the chicken fajita quessadilla, but it wasn't cut into pieces just one big tortilla folded in half. I had to eat it with a fork. Only received 3 tortillas when we asked for some. And dont let them fool you with the chips. They fill the basket up with old broken chips broken into pieces and put the large fresh chips on top so by the time you get to the crumbs you can eat them and of course they never refilled our basket. Unfortunately don't think we will be back. Hopefully Guthrie can get a good mexican restaurant soon.
