I got fired from CLARENDON REFZ for being assaulted by a partial-owner of the facility. Filed a report, they got charged, and I got fired a month later once I wanted to come back for spring break from college, continued on to say “they don’t need me” and not once took accountability for their actions. I was willing to work around what had happened, but they weren’t. Tonya, Ricardo, and Jaime are not for their employees of this establishment, they are for the money. This happened on February 1, 2025 and I’ve gained the courage to spread the truth.

I’ve held back on leaving a review and yeah I still come back to this place because I love their cheese dip and I love their cheeseburgers but lately the last three times I’ve come to Refs. It’s like people don’t take pride in service anymore. My hamburger today, the bun is hard and it tastes and looks old , fries were soggy n tasteless, I got the cheese dip and it was clumpy and not all the way melted. When we called and placed the order we specifically asked them to make the fries well done and no cheese on my daughter’s salad for health reasons and lo and behold. There was a lot of extra cheese on the salad and fries were yucky and soggy and cold as well as the cheese. I am upset because we pay so much money already as it is for food and to receive food like this is really upsetting and disheartening. Only because this is the fourth time that this has occurred with my food here is the reason I’m leaving this review.
The atmosphere and service is top notch. The food is really good. It does get busy but that is because it's a good place to go. The atmosphere is better than the Pub!! That's why I come here because I know when I come in I will be treated with genuine care. The food is always good and the service is great!!
