Just so you know the menu says Pork Chops but you only get one chop for $13.99. The food was good but for that price when the menu says Chops you would think you would get 2 (Chops)!

EDIT: I'm editing this review to be a little more discrete about what occurred. Food: Great. Service: Not as great!WOW! SUPER IMPRESSED!We visited this location several times when it was "Local Flavor". Interestingly, I had the same meal at the Feed Lot that I had last time at Local Flavor. It was good when it was Local Flavor, but it is GREAT now!My wife ordered a burger and fries, and I ordered chicken fried chicken with okra and mashed potatoes. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were almost like "smashed" potatoes, and the okra was clearly hand breaded homemade okra. The fries are hand-cut and the burger was juicy and delicious. My wife and I decided to share, and she ate most of my okra...the okra is just incredibly good. We had peach cheesecake and millionaires pie for dessert and although those weren't made in-house, they were both good as well. (I suspect the desserts are still made by the same people who made them for Local Flavor.)The service was fair, but their servers need to consider wearing more appropriate clothes. (this is what I edited out)

The service was great! Best mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had. And one of the best chicken fried steaks I've had. Their burgers, catfish and calf fries are all really good too

We tried it for the 1st time today. We ordered and picked up. The food was excellent. We will be back!!

This place has really gone downhill. I've visited at least 9 times and this past visit was awful. The food was not good and the French fries were cooked in oil that needed to be changed. Our waitress, after saying excuse me 5 times, brought our sodas towards the end of our meal. Then we told her they tasted like it came through a really dirty hose. She could care less and acted annoyed that we were inconveniencing her. We won't go back. Too bad as they are the only real diner in Haskell, OK.

I drove from Tulsa based on a recommendation and we wanted a great cafe meal. We arrived around 6:40pm.....This place was great! Small town charm, cool small business vibe as we pulled up. We got out and walked in and...crickets....no "hi come in have a seat"...nothing we just wondered around and we just found a table"....a few minutes later the cashier/waitress came by and we ordered drinks...had two small kids with us and asked for a kids menu ...(yes small kids need a kids menu)....#1 flag that this might be interesting ...we did ask about the kids chicken strips vs the "buttermilk chicken bites" and were silently advised the chicken strips were highly not recommended....(okay why even have them on the menu?) we ordered the 12 piece buttermilk meal, chicken fried chicken meal and a grilled cheese meal....and extra side of mashed potatoes....and some root beer, tea and a water...cool! Ready to eat....7:00pm... There was one other table occupied, so food came out fast, this was during "winter hours" and they apparently closed at 7:30...the entire time the waitress who I am guessing was also the manager kept talking about starting closing...with the kitchen staff....a couple walked in and wanted to eat dinner and the cashier/waitress basically said they were closing in 30 minutes so they couldn't be served...we all looked at each other and were a little mystified...so were the couple.... we received our 12 piece buttermilk chicken meal and.....it was a kid sized portion..which we had not ordered...I asked the waitress and she said oh ya it's the kid order(which was not on the kids menu) I told her well we didn't know you had this we wanted the larger sized one"...she said we'll let me know if you want more chicken....(ok.....?)...she looked at the kids menu and basically said oh yah it's not on there, I guess they should add it on).....me thinking no, just go make us a full size one but she walked off really really wanting to close...we also never got a refill of our drinks and saw our waitress maybe one time.... another family of 7 walked in...two adults and four little kids...the dad was getting a booster seat out and the table ready with two kids and the mom was dragging two other kids in and the waitress again said "sorry we are closing in 20 minutes ....." so they also walked out...so far about 125.00 just walked out the door for the owners because of this waitress.... we wanted to order desserts or pie ...she never checked back on us and just focused on getting out...(normal hours are until 8:30, but apparently winter hours even if customers are coming in still apply)....We gave up on dessert and paid our tab and left...both basically agreeing that the food was great...but the service was very very bad.....I'd suggest management do some training and be on site more...this can kill a great restaurant in a small town.... Update! The owner messaged me and was made aware of this...they said they would fix this staffing issue...

Heard a lot about this restaurant on the Branson pages and thought we would try it out. Did not disappoint!! Looking at the menu found out they’re from Oklahoma about 45 minutes from us. Definitely going to try out their Haskell location SOON!!

Excellent food in huge portions, the right kinda onion rings (shoestrings, hand breaded). We got two apps and three entrees with different sides and shared, no one finished their meal, not even my big hungry hungry farm boy. Also the unsweetened tea was wonderful. My only regret was I didn't have room for pie!

A great home cooked meal away from home. The food is just that as what your grandma would fix...worth the wait, price, and short drive down the road. When have you seen a small town eatery have Philadelphia Cream Cheese corn... no where..but Local Flavor does! My son loves going here just for that. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Some nights even has a live band! Can't wait to visit their NEW restaurant in Branson, MO! They just recently got plastic to go cups... Love them!!!
