I've been to visit a number of times, since I only live 20 minutes to the south in Boynton. Every time, the food has been great. But even more than the food, the service has been superb! I always look for Jayci...her attitude and smile sets the atmosphere and always makes me leave smiling. It's hard to find people who maintain such an upbeat and charming attitude, especially when working in a service industry, but she does it every time I'm there. Just wanted to give her a shout-out for being amazing, and always making my experience enjoyable. Ask for Jayci when you go!

The Grazing Table on Franklin is worth the drive to Haskell. I had one of the best chicken fried steak dinners I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and treats you like you belong

Best pork I have had in a very long time. Real mashed potatoes with skins. Great service and good prices. Looked like they have daily specials.

The chicken fried steak is amazing! My wife got the steak fingers that were the size of chicken fingers. Definitely will be back.

This may be my new favorite place to eat! I was in town for some work training with a group of people, and what an unexpected little gem this place was. Portions are huge. You can easily get a couple of meals from one entree. I'll be back, and next time I'll be bringing the family.

This is the real deal small town country café. The only thing missing is a couple of dogs lying on the floor keeping warm by a big pot belly stove. Looks like a family ran operation. There was a couple finishing up their breakfast when we walked in, and an older fellow on the other side of the diner. Later on, locals, mostly working men dropping in for breakfast or early lunch as the morning progressed. There were a couple of fine looking tall stacked hamburgers delivered to a table in the other dining room. The cooks were doing prep work for lunch. Three big baskets of fresh cut potatoes were in queue over the fryer, awaiting the order to “drop the fries!”I had my usual: two medium, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy with a cup of coffee. My wife had pancakes with bacon. When I ordered I asked for crispy bacon and crispy hashbrowns. The lady that took our order, asked “how crispy?’ My reply “crispy crispy.” She replies “I have your bacon ready.” I was not disappointed; the crispy was delivered. Hashbrowns and bacon cooked the way I ordered it; the way I like it. Good biscuit and gravy, the eggs a little over cooked. My wife had the same crispy bacon and two hubcap sized pancakes. One was a meal. The first thing my wife and I noticed was the coffee. It was unusually perfect for diner /café coffee. Not tasteless and watered down. I asked about it. I was surprised. Nothing special. It was a well-known consumer brand. She said “I just make it properly strong enough.”A great breakfast, a good cup of coffee, fair prices and adequate friendly service.I have read excellent reports on the burgers and CFS.

I got a cheese burger, it was so good and the fries were perfect. I also recommend the cheese curds with ranch. The service was great and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend.

Ordered chicken fried steak. Flavor was alright but meat was hardly tenderized. Had to use knife to cut it. Mashed potatoes were barely warm (a problem I've had there over half the maybe 10+ times I've been there). Wait time for food to come out was horrible. Probably 45 minutes (enough time to almost get full on water before it came). It drives me crazy having to cut on an aluminum baking sheet with a knife since they don't use plates. It'll be a while till I'm back again to see if they get better. Hasn't worked so far in the last 5+ years though. Wish they'd get things fixed instead of just keep changing owners.Parking: You just park along 3 sides of building. If there isn't parking like that then don't go in cause there's probably no where to park your back side inside either.

Great food, great service. Comfort, home style cooking. Small town restaurant with country decor.
