I and my husband were totally disappointed in the food and service. I ordered chimichangas and they were not what I was used to. The fajita beef tasted liked some pressed meat from a can. I could hardly chew it, it was tough.

Saw the signs and lights on the building and it looked like they put a lot of effort into their business. This was well reflected in their dishes, staff and grounds. Sit on the patio and you'll feel like you're in Mexico. Great chips and salsa (which they refilled often and promptly, queso, chimichangas, and flan and sopapillas! 10/10 all day!

Excellent food at a reasonable price! Menu has a wide selection. Food was served relatively quickly. I had a shrimp dish and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. My wife loved her chile rellano, my daughter loved her carne asada, and my son loved his alhambre burrito.

The food was cold and the help was very slow for only having 5 tables. We had a table with 5 adults and 4 children 2 were in highchair. Only one child ate! They hit us up for mandatory gratuity. I don't mind tipping but hate to be told how much I am going to pay. When I? It I was told it didn't matter the kids didn't eat. While discussing it amongst themselves they were speaking Spanish how rude I don't speak Spanish! The place has went down Hill since the dad died and the kids took over. I will continue to eat at Mi Ranchita in Broken Bow.

Vegetarian options: The veggie fajitas were good but ask for no cheese if vegan

I wish I could rate this restaurant highly as the food really was very good. But after my partner rang and asked if they could cater to my gluten allergy and she was reassured, when we arrived the waiter seemed both clueless and unwilling to find out what did and didn't contain gluten.I asked about several items on the menu, to which he said, "I don't know," when I asked if it would be safe to eat. I honestly should have left then and there, but when I asked if he could check with the chef what would be safe, suddenly he knew what did and didn't contain wheat.I ordered food and trusted that it would be safe to eat, but sadly had a gluten reaction anyway. The food was great, but the lack of care towards people with food allergies was very frightening to me and I won't be returning as a result. What's most disappointing was the assurances that we could be catered for easily and that wheat products could be substituted for corn. Places shouldn't offer accommodations they can't provideDietary restrictions: Not suitable for food allergy sufferers, waiter had a very laxidasical attitude towards my dietary needs. I ended up having a reaction as the food contained wheat after being assured it didn't.
