There really are no words to express how enjoyable our experience was. I was in town for work with my wife and we stopped by for dinner. In Idabel, there simply aren't too many choices - but we made the right one. Our waiter (I think it was Derek) was amazing. He was polite and on point! He made the experience so very enjoyable. He kept our drinks filled and we just connected with him. If all people in life were as kind as this gentleman, the world would be a better place....
I haven't had David Beards in years since the one in Longview closed. The service was great. The food was alright, fish was small and overcooked. It was supposed to be Cajun. There was no season at all. The shrimp were like rubber. Then the fact I paid 20 bucks for all this was disappointing
After several years of this place being sub par, today was a pleasant change. The food was perfect. Fish and beans hot and fresh. The waiter, Derek, was the best. A guy like him could turn this business around and back on the right track. I would like to see him be the manager here.
