We had Izzy cater our wedding and it was a great experience! We called a month or so ahead of time to get pricing and they were much cheaper than the other quotes we had received. After going into the restaurant and trying the food, we then decided to pull the trigger and book them for our wedding.

The owner, Oliver, gave us his personal phone number to make communication quick and easy. The food was delivered to the venue on time, hot and accurate. We cannot ask for anything more than that! Highly recommend Izzy for a bite to eat or even to cater an event!

I've been here several times and we've always received great food and service. Last time I brought a couple of the sample platters home for my kids and they loved it too.

I love good, authentic Mexican food and Izzy Mexican Flat Grill in Inola is my favorite restaurant. I generally only dine out once or twice a week and Izzys is the only place I go to now. The food is amazing, staff is very friendly, the prices are fair and the portions are very good. I usually get the Carne Asada street tacos and they are always generously stuffed with meat. I highly recommend the enchiladas too. The sauce is homemade and it is amazing. The queso is good and goes great with the chips and salsa. If you get crispy tacos, they fry their own shells, none of the ready made shells you buy from the store. I am so glad I found this little gem. I am looking forward to some Carnitas and Chicken Mole! Thank you!

I ordered the food to be prepared thirty minutes after the time I took the order. I wrote that time down. The food was delicious. The hostess pointed out a couple of dishes that were on the menu there. I looked over a couple order's on the menu somewhere in between two, or three minutes.

The food here has been delicious everytime! They run different daily specials that are always great. Tonight, I had asada waffle fry's... Holy crow the portion was perfect and they blew me away. I definitely recommend Izzy! I keep wanting to get a picture of my food but as soon as it hits the table I dig in!

The owner on duty to day is the brother-in-law to the owner of the Izzy Flat Grill on old Highway 33 near Catoosa. I told him that we have dined at the other restaurant several times and really enjoy the food. That is why we decided to try the Inola restaurant also. After the meal he asked, “which one was the best?” Nope, not falling in to that trap. My answer “They are both good.”Inola should thank the owners for cleaning up the eyesore that this building was to the city. The owners gutted the building. Remodeled inside and out, and added a nice parking area. Nothing fancy inside, but it is clean and has clean new restrooms. The food is essentially the same as the other Izzy Mexican Flat Grill. The stand out of the restaurant’s foods, are the well flavored meats, excellent sauces, good portions and fair prices. The red sauce used on the enchiladas is the real deal, red chili sauce, not tomato sauce. The green is equally delicious. The red salsa served with the chips is good, but ask for the red and green salsa picante. The red is absolutely fantastic, smokey, spicey and hot. High marks for the refried beans too.My wife had a chicken Taco salad and I had the three-enchilada lunch, all beef, one with red sauce one with cheese and one with green sauce. Great meals. Eat here Inola! If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.
