I have no bad things to say about this place! This started as my parent’s favorite bar when I was a kid to one of my favorite bars as an adult! I wish they had a cork dart board it would’ve kept me in longer but the pool table and patio are amazing and have a great secluded vibe. It helps create this intimate vibe between the bar and its guests which feels very comfortable.

Jamie was the only bartender there this past Saturday and she was doing such a fantastic job! Smiling and happy, made sure we all had drinks and even stopped to chat for a minute even though she was clearly swamped. Not many people these days still do service with a smile, things get overwhelming and they get an attitude. Not her! Well come back just to see her!

Garrett and staff were very attentive and friendly all evening, we were there on a Sunday. Food was also excellent! I would definitely recommend this place.

George’s is a special place where everyone receives a warm welcome. All of the bartenders are great people and do their best to both run food out to the tables and make drinks for the bar and entire restaurant. I always feel very safe at George’s because any time there are unruly customers or strange characters the staff promptly addresses the problem. As a single woman it really means the world to me to be able to come to the bar alone and not only feel safe but feel welcomed. Either Heath or Kevin is always there to not only make amazing drinks, but also to be sure everyone is having a great time. George’s has great food and drinks but the thing that makes it great is bigger than that—it’s the people. ❤️

So I went to Smittys when I got off work because I read a Google review that said George's had a violent drunk bartender....after about 10minutes I noticed this very unruly woman. She made me very uncomfortable when she hit on me and then proceeded to be so loud several other people tabbed out. As did I. Then I went to George's and had a nice quiet drink and a good conversation with a happy bartender named Heath. No drama- just a nice gentleman.

Heath threw change at my head. And was drinking behind the bar because it was his birthday. If u want a bartender to throw change at u and drink behind the bar that's the spot. He said I couldn't root for my jets and kicked me out and pushed me. I came to smittys 918 and I love it here

Haven't tried the food, but the staff there is super great! Polite and friendly! There is an upstairs Pool table, but it's kind of wonky and super small lol. But the drinks there aren't too pricy compared to the surrounding areas.

I've been to George's several times and I already knew the food was way better than the food in a small, downtown pub, nestled in a suburb ought to be. However, this time I couldn't be arsed to leave the house, so I DoorDashed.
I wanted to change the side on the burger from fries to their fried green beans, but DoorDash (being that their interface sucks eggs) didn't have an option for me to do so. So, I called George's and asked if they could make the change on my order. The lady who answered the phone said she wasn't sure they could since that change was an upcharge, but she'd get her manager on the phone with me to let me know.
She put the phone down and I could hear they were pretty busy. I waited on the phone about 4 minutes or so, which felt like a long time when you're just sitting on the phone, so I decided it wasn't really worth it and hung up.
When my food arrived what did I find??? They had thrown in a whole side of fried green beans...FOR FREE.
So yes - George's has good food. But they also have good people. Go see for yourself. Bon Appetit!

If you’re a fan of next level burgers and fries, this is a top contender. The fries are of the shoestring variety. The people who work there are on top of things and the atmosphere for watching sports is great, though that is almost an aside.

We stopped at George’s on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered the Cheese Burger with Monterey Cheese and “everything”. I substituted Onion Rings for the French Fries. Oh my gosh! The food was delicious and just the right temperature. I believe that the onion rings are the best I’ve ever had-the batter was a smooth batter and crispy! Not greasy! The burger was cooked all the way through but tender (not at all like a hockey puck)! The serving was large for both the burger and the onion rings. It’s safe to say I’ll be back again. If you get chilly easily, bring a light jacket or sweater.
Parking: There was plenty of parking in the lot NorthWest. Parking on the street is limited.
