Calling this a dive bar doesn't give it enough credit, so as the owner put it to me "It's a dive bar for Jenks." I would call that a fitting description, it is a dive bar and you can still smoke in it. Thanks to the smoke eaters and high ceilings it is not a smokey bar so your non smoking friends might not complain as much. The drinks are all reasonably priced, (I dare say cheap, for Jenks!) and the staff are all attentive and friendly. I can see why this spots been here for 10 years and hopefully will be here many more.

Took the hubby here for his birthday, it was really chill, there was a pool table, and a music box with loads of mysic on it, and the bartender Greig was absolutely phenomenal, we didn't exactly know names of drinks we wanted but he helped us in choosing one and it was absolutely yummy. He was quick on checking on us once a drink was gone, and made conversation with us, made us feel welcomed. We will absolutely be back. Everyone else sitting at the bar was friendly, and they seemed to know each other, so I know without a shadow of a doubt, this bar strives to do what they can do make you feel comfortable, as well as take care of you on a personal level.
I have a speech impediment. They refused to serve me. I guess people like me aren't welcome

Can't even get up from the bar without them throwing away a full drink, and after sitting back down at the bar for the remainder of my time there, I was never offered a new drink and wasn't even asked if I wanted to buy another one. I use to love coming to this bar, but after that experience I've lost all respect and won't be going back.
