This was the only place open when we came through town so it was packed. Got a table pretty quick though. Service was good and the food was pretty tasty.

Walked in and stood and waited for a table for an extended amount of time then finally asked the woman that was just sitting at register looking at us and she said oh just pick a table. So we sat down and waited 15 minutes before a waitress finally came over, but, she wasn’t planning on coming to our table because a group of 6 obvious locals came in and she was headed to that table I held up my hand she rolled her eyes and came over. Brought dirty menus to the table. We received our drink order relatively quickly. But, did wait a while for food as the table that came in after us and ordered after us got their food first. The shrimp was still cold in the center. French fries were very cold. The coleslaw was bad. The pie had been sitting uncovered for who knows how long in the cooler and tasted as such. Never received a refill on drinks. I definitely won’t be stopping by this location on my next trip to the river.

We lucked upon this place traveling back home. The food was top notch. Everyone left happy and full. It is worth to get off of the beaten path for this hidden gem. Food arrived quickly, hot, and you could taste the love in it!

Super friendly, makes you comfortable being there, and the staff treats you like a long time friend
My husband tried the Indian taco, and we were a little skeptical of ordering because of all of the reviews, but when I came out, the plate was large, and the Indian taco nearly covered the entire plate. My husband said it was very good. I tried the chili cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Both were really good. The burger could have had a bit more veges and cheese but it was still good. My husband also had the loaded crinkle cut fries as an appetizer. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. This is a place we would definitely try again.
