Nice meal if you don’t mind eating off of styrofoam plates and plastic forks. Food seemed fresh and prepared daily. A pleasant surprise was the home made ice cream made every morning.

This all-you-can-eat place is busy! If you arrive when they open at 4 PM, there will be a wait. The restaurant filled up quickly, so quickly that after 1 hour of eating, there was a continual line outside while those inside could sit at benches on the side of the dining room area. Our group of three enjoyed the fried shrimp, hush puppies & salad bar the best. It is all about doing things yourself: get your own drinks, your own food, and bus your own table. One drawback: everything is plastic...forks, plates, cups & bowls. Eating some hard things like fried catfish are detrimental to plastic forks. Other than that, four stars!

Walked in at 8:43 and they said they wouldn’t seat us. It shows open till 9pm very disappointed
First time here! (8/16/25) arrived at 4:10p, the atmosphere was simple, country style very welcoming. There was a looong line to pay first then find a table but it wasn’t a long wait. $18 per adult (not sure if that’s the same price for kids)
Buffet was full of a variety of food and it was coming out hot and ready frequently! There’s people constantly coming in hot as well from waiting outside, so it does get busy here.
There’s a good size salad bar, with coleslaw and cold peel and eat shrimp. Then there all the fried food and sides, which includes whole beans, corn fritter, hush puppies, fried shrimp, fried catfish, chicken strips. We enjoyed it all! I just wish they’d invest in a better quality of chicken strip, these were cheap, flat well processed chicken strips. But overall I see why there’s always a packed parking lot every weekend here!!😋

Family & I drove 2 hours just to eat here & it was definetly worth it. 😋😋😋😋
You would think if you spend $18 a plate for buffet there would be a little bit of variety but no, just catfish hush puppies and f ried shrimp There were no tomatoes on the salad bar. Was not impressed really wonder since the place is only open Friday Saturdays and Sundays how the hell do they keep afloat because the food and atmosphere are sincerely lacking...

We were visiting the area and decided to give BG's Catch a try. The parking lot was already full at 5 pm. You could tell alot of locals were there. I thought the catfish needed a little more flavor. The beans were good. The salad bar had nice options. The homemade ice-cream was a nice dessert to end your meal.

We drive from over an hour away to try it and I'm glad we did. Something interesting is that you pay right up front when you walk in. After you've paid, you seat yourself in the dining room and head to the buffet. Everything is self-serve, including the drinks. They have a salad bar and then the catfish, chicken, French fries, shrimp, hush puppies, etc. are on another bar. I thought the fish, chicken, cole slaw and beans were all really good. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the tartar sauce, but the fish was really good on its own. Once you've had your fill of all that good stuff, you can head back to get some homemade ice cream or peach cobbler. Overall, it was a meal that I very much enjoyed.
