Drove over an hour to get here. And they didn't put on Facebook that they were redoing their kitchen and had no food. When you bring someone from out of town down to try the restaurant and you waste the time and the drive and the gas. Not real happy with this place right now
Limited menu due to their kitchen being remodeled, not a problem at all, they let us know up front about that. Got sat and 15 minutes later we are finally helped, and then watched our waitress immediately help every other table she got. $23 for a prime rib sandwich and a bag of chips, but there are no details about the sandwich and it came out piled with onions and mushrooms. The sandwich was small and the prime rib just tasted like a mushroom.
Atmosphere is great, just not enough to make it worth it to go back.

Buncombe Creek is a very well-hidden cove on Texoma. Our neighbors had told us about the place so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. The outdoor eating area has great atmosphere, but the food is what made the experience for me. I opted for the blackened catfish with green beans and okra. The fish was awesome but the green beans were amazing. I will be asking for a double order next trip. The only caution is the OK taxes!! We are used to the TX side of the lake so very shocked to see $10 added to our bill in beverage tax. Would highly recommend for the food and dining experience but you may want to order ice tea or water to drink.

We love Twisted Anchor! It’s our Saturday night go-to every weekend that we are at the lake!! The prime rib is sooooo good! And those trash can nachos…..delicious!! We love the karaoke and live entertainment! Twisted Anchor is a great place for some fun and good food and drinks!

Started following this place before it was even open. I met up with my buddy Matt, who is a bartender out there, and we had a damn good time. Very chill and beautiful scenery. If you haven't been here, you're DEFINITELY missing out. 10/10

We have a slip at the marina and love to stop and have dinner after a fun day of boating! The staff are awesome! So friendly and accommodating . We haven’t had a bad meal ever! We love the trashcan nachos, pizza, crispy chicken salad…. So many more items we need to try! Saturday nights they have a prime rib special that’s next on our list and the live music is always great! We need to visit for breakfast!
