Stopped at Pete's Place on our way to Houston and so happy we did! The food and the ambiance is wonderful! Definitely my favorite Italian restaurant. I hope to pass through again! The only problem was that we didn't notice that our server charged us for a drink we didn't order until after we had paid. The staff, however, was very welcoming.

Worst expensive Italian food. Horrible ownership. Nothing was "authentic" in their misleading ad. Why use that word loosely? It's very deceiving to those who are either Italian or have lived/been in Italy.Premise: I'm not a local and I'm 100% native born and raised Italian. We were a party of x3. We ordered 2x Lasagnas ($30 each), 1x Italian Dinner ($19), 1x Moscato wine glass, water, and 1x Sweat tea. I tried but didn't finish my meal. In the end, the Manager did not charge me after the daughter of the owner, who was very disrespectful and rude, walked away in the middle of us discussing the issues because I spoke to her in Italian after she said she was Italian. She said: "OK, you are speaking to me in Italian and that's demeaning to me so that's it, I'm done with you" and walked away and had another waitress bring the bill rightaway.MENU: expensive and poor. No pizzas, calamari, carbonara, tortellini...AMBIANCE: Claustrophobic! We were seated in a closet-sized room with no windows and the rolling door shut. We could barely move and felt weird.FOOD: No rating. Unfortunately, not an "authentic" Italian food diner. I stopped after my first bite. Olive Garden or Carrabas has better (un-authentic) Italian food.First thing served, the drinks. The water had an Earthy taste; whereas, at a true Italian restaurant, you would get bottled water that you pay for (i.e. San Pellegrino, Ferrarelle, Acqua Panna, Levissima...). The Moscato wine was ok. I was going to get an Italian "Birra" (i.e. Peroni or Moretti) but they don't have any. I was listed a bunch of local-made IPA beers that I've never heard of and are remotely similar to an Italian beer. I asked if they had anything "similar" to a Moretti ("blonde") beer but the waitress had no idea of what a Moretti was nor which beer would be a simple white wheat beer. So, I opted for a simple sweet tea. When I received the glass of tea filled with ice, I noticed a spoon in it. The tea was other than sweet so I asked the waitress to bring me a sweet tea as the one she had served was unsweetened. She stated that there were "sugar packs" and the spoon already in the cup. I asked her, "How can my tea become sweet with ice cold tea? It would have to be heated first to melt the sugar, and the add the tea with ice." She replied that they had no other way. I did not drink my tea and resorted to the Earthy-tasting water. The salad came next, which comes pre-dressed with a ton of white vinegar. When asked to take it back, because none of us 3 couldn't eat it, due to the high level of acidic taste, the waitress stated they had pre-made dressing. I asked if they could bring a bottle of olive oil and vinegar for us to individually apply based on our subjective taste...but unfortunately, something that is normal at all Italian restaurants both in Italy or even here in the US, could not be done. We thought that was very interesting, but in a negative way.The waitress never explained that my "Italian Dinner" meal would be served as part of the other two guests' complimentary portion prior to their Lasagnas. To explain this to you, the Italian Dinner comprises of Spaghetti meat balls and ravioli...but it also come with the Lasagna. I only found out when the Lasagnas came for the other two, and no plate for me. I asked where was my food? She said: "We served your Italian Dinner with the complimentary portion of the two Lasagnas." I asked "So you are saying that with the Lasagnas, they get to also eat what I got, all served on the same big plate?" She said yes! Granted, I barely know the other two guests but what is the point of serving me with for $19 on the same plate what the other two were getting as complimentary? Now, I was told that we would have unlimited pasta, meatballs, and raviolis...eventhough they only brought three raviolis and three meatballs at a time. The spaghetti were washed out (not cooked together with the sauce) and over

The best Italian food. There is nothing in this part of the country that comes even close to the quality of the food at Pete’s.We drive out of our way so that we can go through Krebs and eat there.

What a great place! They sit you in your own room with your own dining room table and chairs. They take your order and then bring out the setup. The setup includes: salad, spaghetti, meatballs and Ravioli in sauce, cheese, and bread. Then they bring your food out.I had the sausage and it was great, my wife had the lasagna.Another had the fried chicken and they were huge pieces. The last person just ate the setup.Pete's Place IS THE place for dinner. Friendly service and very ckean.Worth the price paid? YES!!!

Heard good things about this place and was excited to try the Italian cuisine as it's my favorite type of food. Believe me when I say that the food here was so bland, and the tomato sauce was worse than Ragu out of a jar. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice being in a small family room. Would not recommend this place however as it should be a crime to call this place authentic Italian cuisine.

The personal room sesting is unlike any restaurant I have been to. It's nice, but you feel secluded from other guests. Some may like that more than others though.

Food is still good it’s just time for some new tables and chairs. Our glasses we’re trying to slide off the table and the cracks of tables have old food in them not something I want to see when I’m eating!

Food was great and our lunch menu items were pretty good values; I brought home a complete meal and had plenty to eat! They also KNOW their beers. There is nothing more annoying than a huge list of beers from which to choose and staff that is no help in choosing one. Not a problem here!Next time we may split a dinner, get two salads, and get dessert. Will return for sure.

Just visited Pete's Place in Krebs, OK and let me tell you - it's a must-visit! From the moment you step in, you feel right at home with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The Italian cuisine is absolutely divine, with a variety of hearty, flavorful dishes that reminded me of a classic Italian grandma's kitchen. The Chicken Parmesan is a standout, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs has just the right balance of flavors. Don't forget to try their homemade bread and salad, they are phenomenal! The portions are also very generous, ensuring you won't leave hungry. Loved the rustic decor and cozy feel of the place - it adds to the overall charm. If you're in Krebs and looking for authentic Italian food, Pete's Place should be your top choice. Can't wait to go back! #FoodReview #PetesPlace #KrebsOK #ItalianCuisine

In 1980 my wife & I visited Pete's Place on our honeymoon had a great time & dinner in a nice sized dining area, great service & food. So we decided to return this week as we were going to be in area after 44 years BIG mistake! Now the restaurant has expanded & because of the Eclipse it was packed. Their reservation system worked well & we were seated on time in a private dining room took our waitress about 10 minutes to greet us & she was very pleasant & helpful as we ordered. Food finally came in a semi timely fashion by another server while there was plenty the sauce had no taste to it & we weren't impressed by the meal at all plus the only time we saw our waitress was after we had completed our meal-positives of our experience were the ample parking, reservation system & our private room the rest was not so positive. I talked to some other folks I work with & they had been there in the last couple of years & had the same experience-neeedless to say we should have just kept our 1980 memories of the place and gone somewhere else!!
