One of our favorite places! So glad it's back open. The service, atmosphere and food are all one of a kind. We love it.

Attended the reopening Friday night and the food and service were very good. All ladies received a red rose upon being seated. Menu had few new additions, but the mushrooms were missing. Overall a positive experience after the Fathers Day storm that damaged the roof.

The Artichoke has been closed since Septmber!!!! I do not understand why they are still allowed to take reservations through your site. I was asked even to confirm the dau before. Yet the restaurant was dark with a tarp off the fron of its roof. This was a let down for our family. This certainly lowers my trust in Opentable. I will probably not use your app in the future. Please vet your restaurants in the future.

I have never eaten there, but I've heard it's good. Sorry.

This restaurant is CLOSED but are still taking reservations and confirming them the day of. They are CLOSED. And they DO NOT indicate that when making reservations online.Unbelievable! There are plenty of restaurants that DO WANT your business, it’s just not The Artichoke!

Excellent food! Tight quarters and noisy made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Staff was attentive. Did not like not having prices on menu and waitress seemed somewhat irritated when asked about the prices.

I have always given 5 Stars for the last 10 years we have been going to The Artichoke. Our favorite restaurant at the lake. But it is not the same under the new management. The soups are not up to par. It's not what it used to be.

The food was awful. Very over priced for what I'd expect. Hated the food! Beautiful place.

This was our first and last time at the Artichoke since Jim and Dianna left. It was my wife's 70th birthday. We had a 7:30 reservation for 06-16-23. We arrived right at 7:30, walked in, gave them our name and told them we had a 7:30 reservation. They said it would be just a minute, go ahead and take a seat. A little later, another couple walked in and gave their names and said they had a 7:45 reservation. The girl picked up two menu's and said okay, follow me. A tall man that had been up front previously asked if we had been helped. I replied yes, but I am a little confused. We had 7:30 reservations and you seated a couple with 7:45 reservations. His response: "I will check in to it". No sorry, no apology, nothing. He was gone for quite a while and never came back. We got up and left--never to return again. It appeared that what once was a quiet, enjoyable, and relaxing place to eat has turned into utter chaos. The staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Definitely poor management. To top it off, when we got home, we had a "reservation canceled" notice on my computer. Today is the 22nd and I have not heard anything from anyone. I sincerely pray they make it. Tom Anderson

Had high expectations due to the raving reviews, but those expectations were not met. Service was phenomenal!! The restaurant, however, smelled musty, and the food was underwhelming. Ordered a crab cake dinner and it came out one crab cake short and with a pool of grease under it. The crab cake itself was basically a deep fried hockey puck of raw dough inside with thin shreds of crab mixed in. I could only manage two bites. The jalapeño sauce it was served with was rather good, but it contained large chunks of tomatoes that made it terrible for dipping. It was definitely a mixed experience as my husband's food was rather good but my kids refused to eat more than a few bites of theirs. I'm sure others have had a great experience but we would probably not go out of our way to go again.

Great service food and atmosphere! Upon our arrival there was a gentleman that gave every female a fresh long stem rose.

The food was delicious and service couldn't have been more attentive and delightful. They do a lot of special touches (roses for the ladies, reading glasses on every table) to make the experience of dining there enjoyable and memorable. Absolutely loved every aspect of our evening. Can't wait to go back!
