Lawton-Fort Sill Regional Airport

There is construction but they need to create a waiting lot and they also need to keep the pick up lane clear so people can exit after picking up their passenger

This airport is a joke. Only 2 flights per day and you may have to spend 8 hours in Dallas for your next flight. Do not recommend.

This a nice and small Regional Airport. Mostly used to get the military members close to the base. They had shuttles already waiting outside that run people to the base. They have a very limited car rental capacity, so if you’re going to a graduation, I would book as soon as possible.

It's under what appears to be a major face-lift. It's a small regional air port.

Was unable to check in the night prior on mobile app, arrived 45 minutes prior to departure and there is nobody at the check in counter. They pull their check in counter staff to load luggage 45 minutes prior to departure. So despite arriving with enough time to clear security and board, I was unable to do so as there was simply no custer service made available to me or other paying customers. I waited for over a hour as the plane I paid to be on way loaded with luggage, boarded, and departed. There were nearly 15 TSA agents milling about, but not a single airport employee to be found.

Small airport not that packed

It is a good airport to get you to DFW or other places. It is very military-friendly, and the staff was very accommodating with my service dog on every flight I have taken out of here and each time I have returned. I recommend this airport; know that it is minimal and the opposite of OKC in terms of size, number of terminals, and overall amenities.

Airport is small which is nice and there is never a lot of people. Only bad side to this airport is that it has to many single point failures. This airport has no extra aircraft and not a whole lot of staff to meet the customer demand if they are short handed. Something as simple as de-icing an air plane here can turn into a major issue. Seems like this airport only has one machine capable of de-icing its aircraft and it was broken. They said they will have to let the ice melt naturally off the plane which will obviously take several hours. They are making structural upgrades to this airport, but some of that tax payer money should also be rerouted to buy more airport equipment that makes on time travel essential.

Small airport only need 45min if no luggage and pre check if have bags i would say at least one hour

Avelo Airlines could be a possibility for the Lawton-Fort Sill Regional Airport someday.

Hands down the worst airport to travel through. Don’t waste your time here. Drive the extra hour to OKC for better service. No one at the front desk to assist people. Poor management. I’ll avoid this airport if I come back to Fort Sill.

Missed my flight because no gate agent was present as well as the check in machines were broken

Love that this airport is smaller and no real long lines. I had a 5 am flight, there was a mix up with the ticket. However James and Melanie were sooooo much help and got me on my way and home to kids after a SUPER long week and work trip. So thankful! These two are shinning stars at this hidden gem of an airport. Thank you both again so much!

What is going on? Arrive early just to miss the flight because they have no one stationed at the front desk. Should have someone there until board starts. Yall...AA gotta do better
